Mit “Down The Mountainside” wird in einigen Wochen das neue Album der Progressive Rock-Band QUANTUM erscheinen. Es ist nach der 2020er-EP “The Next Breath of Air” das erste Album der Schweden.

Das Album befasst sich mit den menschlichen Alter Egos – oder Masken -, auf die sich die Menschen in unserer Gesellschaft verlassen, um mit ihrem Alltag zurechtzukommen, und wie diese sie psychologisch beeinträchtigen und sie schließlich zu einem Bruch führen.

“Down The Mountainside” wurde von Linus Corneliusson gemixt und von Jens Bogren gemastert. Erscheinen wird das Album am 19. April 2024 via Black Lodge Records. Vorab gibt es den Track “Abstract Bliss” zu hören.

Mit “Heaven Tonight” wird in einigen Wochen das neue Album der Heavy Metal / Hard Rock-Band ALICATE erscheinen. Es ist das fünfte Album des schwedischen Quartetts, welches aus Sänger und Gitarrist Jonas Erixon, Bassist Fredrik Ekberg, Keyboarder Glenn Ljungkvist und Drummer Jesper Persson besteht.

“Heaven Tonight” wurde in den Spjutseroad Studios und Blind Mans Aim Studios aufgenommen und gemixt und wird am 19. April 2024 via Pride & Joy Music erscheinen. Vorab gibt es einen Video-Clip zum Titeltrack.

Die Modern Metal-Band MISTER MISERY kommt im Oktober 2024 auf Europatour. Auf dem Programm stehen dabei auch Shows in Berlin, Leipzig, Obertraubling, Tübingen, Aarau (CH), Neunkirchen, Frankfurt, Bochum sowie Hamburg (Termine s. unten).

Zuvor schlossen die Schweden im Herbst 2023 einen Plattenvertrag mit AFM Records ab. Im Februar 2024 präsentierte die Gruppe mit “Hand Of Death” eine weitere neue Nummer bei allen gängigen Streaming-Portalen.

Außerdem verfügbar: “Boogeyman Boogie” als Lyric-Video bei YouTube.

Zuletzt veröffentlichten die Schweden eine neue Single veröffentlicht, um den Label-Deal zu feiern: “Root Of All Evil” bei YouTube. Es handelt sich dabei um die erste Single des kommenden, noch unbetitelten Drittwerks, das 2024 erscheinen soll. Die Platte folgt auf das Album “A Brighter Side Of Death” (2021).

Die Mittelalter-Rockband VERMALEDEYT ist wieder aktiv: Die neue Single “Wieder vereint” erscheint am 22. März 2024,  auf den Tag genau
zehn Jahre nach ihrem letzten Auftritt.

Musikalisch hat sich bei  VERMALEDEYT einiges getan:

„Wir haben uns in den vergangenen zehn Jahren natürlich weiterentwickelt, deshalb sind auch neue Inspirationen in unsere Musik eingeflossen. Wir haben auch wieder mit modernen Stilmitteln experimentiert. Insgesamt ist der Sound viel rockiger als früher, im Vergleich zu unserem letzten Album SaltaNeo aber gleichzeitig auch wieder deutlich mittelalterlicher und folkiger.”

Geplant ist für 2024 außerdem eine neue EP mit dem Titel “Heimkehr” sowie ein Konzert am 14. Dezember 2024 im Kaminwerk in Memmingen.

An der Produktion der neuen Songs waren alle sieben Bandmitglieder der ursprünglichen Besetzung beteiligt. Live werden VERMALEDEYT jedoch nur noch zu sechst auftreten. Aus privaten Gründen wird sich Schlagzeuger Simon Donnerschlag zurückziehen. Seine Rolle übernimmt Jean der Franzose, der bereits in der Vergangenheit die Rhythmussektion mit Percussion verstärkte und nun an die Drums wechselt. Zudem sind neben Vivianne von der Saar auch Johann Lästerzunge, Basileus von Berg, Arras Schelter und Thomas Galgenvogel mit von der Partie.

Bindrim says the songwriting process of each song on this album varied from track to track. “Some songs were spawned from a vocal or lyrical idea, and on a few tracks a synth melody and vocal were first written together all at once,” she says. “In the end, I didn’t try to force ideas or over-think things, so each song on the album developed very naturally and instinctively.”

Brittany’s debut album ‘Velella Velella‘ is slated for release on March 8, 2024 via Metropolis Records.

“The Breaking Waves” is the title of the upcoming Llumen album which comes as a 2CD set / Bandcamp download and which will be released on May 24 but is already in pre-order. The album was already teased in November with the EP “Die Stille Totgeschwiegen”.

Llumen is the project by Belgian artist Pieter Coussement who brings a very updated EBM blending it with influences from old-school EBM, techno, and future pop. Influenced by acts like Front 242, Haujobb, Diorama, Assemblage 23, Suicide Commando or yet Covenant, Pieter has been able to develop an own mature sound.

Following the 2017 debut album “The Memory Institute” and the 2021 release “Polygon Heart”, “The Breaking Waves” is his 3rd album to date.

After a decade-long hiatus, Italian deathrock outfit Bohémien has made a striking return with a suspenseful new video for their 2020 single, Fai e Disfai. Intricately weaving together references to Victor Hugo and Albrecht Durer’s Melencolia I, crafting a ballad that serves as an ode to desolation. It’s almost as if the song invites this sombre mood to freely permeate every facet of our psyche.

In Fai e Disfai, Bohémien channels the dark heart of deathrock with a distinctly Italian flair. The track pulses with a deep, haunting bass and sharp, dissonant guitars that cut through the gloom. The vocals, sung in Italian, add an emotional intensity, turning the lyrics into a raw, poetic outcry. The production blends cold, mechanical rhythms with warm, vintage textures and eerie dissonance, creating a rich, atmospheric sound. With ghostly echoes and a vibe that’s both introspective and alluring, Fai e Disfai is a masterful nod to the genre’s roots, wrapped in the drama and passion of Italian lyricism. We hear shades of Sex Gang Children, UK Decay/Furyo, Death Cult, Virgin Prunes, Corpus Delicti, and Cinema Strange in this spooky little number.

Fai e Disfai marks the beginning of an upcoming physical EP, set to be released by Polish label Bat-Cave Productions in the near future. The music video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alex Visani, a renowned figure in Italy’s horror cinema, unfolds within the eerie confines of a deserted cinema. In this setting, two girls embark on an urban exploration adventure, stumbling upon a mysterious totem in the shape of a bat, assembled from film rolls. Their encounter with the band blurs the lines between reality, imagination, and the spectral, leaving viewers pondering the true nature of these interactions.

In the hallowed halls of Rome’s underground scene, Bohémien erupted onto the stage in 1985, wielding their Sangue e Arena debut like a fiery manifesto. The band’s early days were a whirlwind of electric live shows that swept across Italy, their performances a spectacle of raw theatrical energy. Their sound—a vibrant cocktail of positive punk infused with the dark, moody vibes of the Batcave scene, all delivered with a distinctly Italian flair—quickly caught the ears and eyes of fans and critics alike. Their standout act at the inaugural Arezzo Wave in ’87 marked them as serious contenders on the musical battleground.

But then, silence. For 15 long years, the stages went dark, the fans waited, and the music paused. In 2002, the core trio—frontman Alex Buccini, axe-wielder Luciano Liberatore, and beatmaster Walter Vincenti—rose from the silence, flanked by fresh faces, reigniting the Bohémien flame with Danze Pagane. This comeback album, dropped under the In The Night Time banner in  2003, wasn’t just a return; it was a resurrection. Their follow-up, the enigmatic La Parata del Circo EP, further cemented their status on the global stage, earning nods from deathrock and gothic aficionados far and wide.

Bohémien’s saga took them from the gritty streets of New York’s Drop Dead festival to the haunting melodies of Bats Over Milan, and even to the pulsing heart of Leipzig’s Gothic Pogo Party. Yet, amidst their ascent, tragedy struck with the loss of Vincenti in ’06, a blow that would reshape the band’s rhythm section with Valentina Larussa and Gian Paolo Cesarini stepping in to carry the torch.

Throughout their odyssey, Bohémien shared stages with legends like Lene Lovich, Nina Hagen, and Peter Murphy, weaving their story into the fabric of alternative music history. Their saga, a blend of triumphs, tragedies, pauses, and playbacks, mirrors the very essence of punk and goth – a relentless pursuit of expression, against all odds.

Die Alternative Rock / Electro / Pust-Punk-Band WEIRD WOLVES hat mit “The Wound That Keeps On Giving” eine neue Single veröffentlicht. Vor wenigen Wochen ist mit “A Lovely Day” eine weitere neue Single erschienen.

“Der Song erforscht das Thema der zerstörerischen Liebe und wie manche Menschen von ihr angezogen werden, weil sie seit ihrer Jugend mit Schmerz vertraut sind. Der Song bietet jedoch auch einen Hoffnungsschimmer, denn er ermutigt die Zuhörer, zu heilen und an ihren Erfahrungen zu wachsen. Schließlich ist das Leben für viele von uns eine Heilungsreise”, erklärt die Band.

Im Oktober 2023 ist mit “The Passengers” eine weitere Single erschienen. Beim Song geht es um die Schnelllebigkeit des Lebens und die Hoffnung auf sinnvolle Verbindungen, bevor es zu spät ist, und die Frage, ob wir alle einsame Passagiere auf dieser Reise sind.

Im August ist mit “Rage” eine weitere Single des US-amerikanischen Duos, welches aus Ava Gore und Raphael Colantonio besteht, erschienen.

Die Death Metal-Band APPARITION hat nach dem Opener “Asphyxcreation” mit “Imminent Expanse of Silence and Not (or Not)” einen zweiten Track ihres kommenden Albums “Disgraced Emanations from a Tranquil State” veröffentlicht. Es ist nach “Feel” (2021) das zweite Album der US-Amerikaner aus Los Angeles und wird am 22. März 2024 via Profound Lore Records erscheinen.

APPARITION sind Sänger und Drummer Andrew Morgan, Gitarrist Andrew Solis, Gitarrist und Synthesizer Miles McIntosh sowie Bassist Taylor Young (TWITCHING TONGUES, Ex-NAILS), der das Album auch gemixt hat. Das Mastering lag erneut in den Händen von Nick Townsend, während Vama Marga (u.a. für AD NAUSEAM tätig) für das Cover-Artwork verantwortlich zeichnet.

Prague-based gothic rockers, Cathedral In Flames have just unveiled their new single, “Pale Rider.”

The song is a tribute to both classic western movies and composer, Ennio Morricone. Obligatory massive choruses, gothic-rock western melodica and chiming guitars underscore a dark tale of an occult battle with cancer.  Production was done by acclaimed producer, John Freyer,

The single is accompanied by a horror clip from midnight graveyard, where long-dead Cthulhu gunslingers come to life under the watchful eye of the foursome of Ambra, Phil, Gatsby and Billac. Gatsby, who portrays the grave desperado, even used an exact replica of Clint Eastwood’s hat in the clip, whose quote introduces the entire song. 

Vocalist and lyricist Phil Lee Fall says of the record, “We’ve always loved and used the western aspects in our take on gothic rock and we’ve taken it to the max in Pale Rider. Cowboy guitars, screaming cowboys, Clint Eastwood and Lovecraftian poetics. Total country overkill. And yet it fires like a very black devils hog on all cylinders.”

And Gatsby, author of the music, adds: “I love westerns, Ennio Morricone, and I put all that into “Pale Rider.” I wrote a darkly gothic cowboy shuffle with an eerily demonic chorus. The mix was an uphill battle, with John having to dip into his reserves of patience a lot to be satisfied, but the result is worth it! After all, it is the title track of the forthcoming album.”

“Pale Rider” is released on the Musicraft label and is available on all major digital outlets including Bandcamp and Spotify.

Mit ihrem letzten Album “Hard To Stop” haben HIGH SPIRITS mich nach dem eher schwachen Zweitwerk “You Are Here” im Sturm zurückerobert. “HIGH SPPIRITS sorgen mit “Hard To Stop” für gute Laune in schwierigen Zeiten!” schrieb ich damals in 2020. Tja, die Zeiten sind seitdem global gesehen nicht wirklich besser geworden, es besteht also weiterhin Bedarf an allem, was die Stimmung aufhellt. Allerdings zeigen sich HIGH SPIRITS auf ihrem fünften Album eine Spur melancholischer als bisher. Eine gewisse Melancholie hatten HIGH SPIRITS zwar schon immer an Bord, hier scheint sie mir aber etwas ausgeprägter zu sein.

Etwas mehr Melancholie, davon abgesehen bleiben HIGH SPIRITS ihrem bewährten Rezept treu
Davon abgesehen gibt es die übliche Mischung aus simplen, straighten Songs zwischen Hard Rock und Heavy Metal. Mit “In The Moonlight” eröffnet ein straighter, flotter Rocker das Album und bei “Anything You Need” geben HIGH SPIRITS mal richtig Gas, vergleichbar vielleicht mit dem Opener und Titelsong von “Another Night”. Ja, das macht Spaß. “(There Will Be) Magic Tonight” ist ein Mid Tempo-Stampfer, ein Song über die Magie von Live-Konzerten, der eben dort sicherlich sehr gut funktionieren wird. “Lonely Nights” oder “Loving You” gehen etwas gemächlicher zu Werke und mit “Please Don´t Leave Me” gibt es eine Power Ballade, die mich allerdings nicht so richtig packt. Der Refrain von “Memories” ist mir selbst für HIGH SPIRITS-Verhältnisse deutlich zu simpel. Ist aber auch ein EUROPE-Cover, somit trifft Chris Black hier keine Schuld.

“Safe On The Other Side” ist nicht ganz so stark wie sein Vorgänger, Fans von HIGH SPIRITS werden trotzdem mehr als zufrieden sein.
Zu erwähnen wäre noch, dass“Safe On The Other Side” mit fast 41 Minuten das bisher längste Album der Bandgeschichte ist. Glückwunsch, nach fünf Alben endlich die 40 Minuten Grenze geknackt. Alles in allem halten HIGH SPIRITS auf “Safe On The Other Side” das starke Niveau des Vorgängers nicht ganz, liefern aber trotzdem ein starkes Album ab. Wer die Band bisher mochte, der wird auch das fünfte Werk von Chris Blacks Haupt-Spielwiese goutieren.

Das kanadische Black Metal-Trio GIVRE veröffentlicht am 29. März 2024 das neue Album „Le Cloître“ – zu deutsch „Das Kloster“ – über Eisenwald. Textlich behandelt das Album die Sühne, Schmerz und strengen Glauben. Jeder der sechs Songs beinhaltet Schriften einer heiligen Frau aus der christlichen Geschichte. Aufgenommen wurde „Le Cloître“ von GIVRE, Mix und Mastering stammt von Gaël Poisson-Lemay, während das Vinyl-Mastering Greg Chandler übernahm.

„Le Cloître“ ist nach „Et Dans l’absurde, nous pourrirons“ (2010), „Le pressoir mystique“ (2021) und „Destin messianique“ (2022) das vierte Album der Band.

Einen Vorgeschmack auf das Album liefert der Song „Sainte Marguerite de Cortone (1247 – 1297), zu dem es ein Video auf Youtube gibt.

Am 29. März 2024 veröffentlichen CANTIQUE LÉPREUX aus Q ihr drittes Album „Le banissement“ über Eisenwald. In sieben Songs erzählt die Band von der Entführung eines jungen Mädchens und ihrer Flucht in die Wildnis, um schließlich Selbstheilung zu erfahren. Aufgenommen wurde das Album von der Band selbst, Gitarrist Blanc Feu übernahm zusammen mit X.T. (Tehom Studios) den Mix.

Mit „Consécration“ (Official Audio bei Youtube) und „Par la gueule des fantômes“ (Official Audio bei Youtube) gibt es bereits zwei neue Songs zu hören. Die seit 2014 aktive Black Metal-Band hat zuvor mit „Cendres célestes“ (2016) und „Paysages polaires“ (2018) zwei Alben veröffentlicht. Zuletzt erschien 2021 die EP „Sectes“.

Wer hätte gedacht, dass dieser Running Gag ähnlich resilient sein würde wie sein Vorbild. Die Schwarzenegger-Huldigung AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE zeigt sich nach zehn Jahren selbstverständlich viermal so brutal wie auf dem Vorgänger und dabei im Kern so unkaputtbar wie Cover-Star Arnies Paraderolle: „lebendes Gewebe über einem metallischen Endoskelett.“ Ganz der Terminator geht Mastermind Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING) auf seinem Soloprojekt mit geballter Faust und gesteigerter Kompromisslosigkeit ans Werk, vermengt rasenden Thrash mit brachialen Metalcore-Anleihen.

Dass die Handschrift des Shouters dabei auch abseits der Stimmspuren aus jeder Pore trieft, ist Segen und Fluch zugleich. Immerhin sorgen die markanten Riffs, Akkordfolgen und Rhythmen für eine vertraute Umgebung, in der wir uns umgehend wie zu Hause fühlen. Gleichzeitig jedoch nähert sich AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE auf „Quad Brutal“ immer mehr Lambesis‘ anderem Schaffen an: So weit weg ist Album Nummer vier nicht mehr von der härteren Seite AS I LAY DYINGs oder den kompromisslosen Eskapaden des zweiten Nebenprojekts BORN THROUGH FIRE.

Tim Lambesis’ Handschrift zeigt sich auch auf “Quad Brutal” in aller Deutlichkeit
Vor allem wenn im Opener „No Pain No Gain“ im Refrain plötzlich Klargesang ertönt, ist das Déjà-vu geradezu unvermeidlich. Abgrenzen kann sich AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE dagegen durch zweierlei Faktoren: Neben der erhöhten Thrash-Präsenz wie in „Everybody Pities The Weak“, „Judgment Day“ oder „MeatGrinder” ist es der Schalk im Nacken, welcher das Album vom restlichen Schaffen Lambesis‘ abgrenzt. Zwischen Filmzitaten und übertriebenen Arnie-Imitationen agiert der Songwriter immer mit einem Augenzwinkern, ohne diesen ironischen Ansatz aber in die Musik überfließen zu lassen.

Satte Breakdowns oder ein unbändiger Drang nach vorne wie in „Don’t Be Lazy“ wischen uns das Grinsen unmittelbar wieder aus dem Gesicht, nachdem ein eingespieltes Sample eben noch – wie könnte es anders sein – mehr Brutalität gefordert hatte. Dass auch hier Lambesis‘ Hauptband wieder besonders deutlich hindurchsticht, soll uns nicht weiter stören, verhindert aber letzten Endes auch das Zuteilwerden höherer Weihen.

Die Rückkehr AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINEs ist kurzweilig und kompetent, aber kein Meilenstein
So kurzweilig und kompetent „Quad Brutal“ mitsamt seiner Schar an Gastmusiker:innen konzipiert ist, das latente Gefühl einer ausgearbeiteten B-Seiten-Sammlung können AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE nicht ganz abschütteln. Immerhin wäre in diesem Fall auch eine solche noch von absolut respektablem Niveau und gleichzeitig eine ganze Kante härter als die jüngeren Veröffentlichungen des US-Amerikaners unter anderem Banner. Eigentlich also gar nicht so schlecht für den vierten Aufguss des im Kern immergleichen Witzes, welcher nun mal das Glück hat, unter seinem organischen Erscheinungsbild auf ein nahezu unkaputtbares Gerüst zählen zu können – eben ganz so wie Arnold Schwarzeneggers Paraderolle T-800.

Ex-Hyena, Bo Barringer and Reuben Bettsak, have just released the video for the “Spiral Down (Moris Blak Remix)” track which is taken from the duo’s recent single “Spiral Down”. “Spiral Down” is the second single from the forthcoming 3rd Ex-Hyena album, “A Kiss of the Mind” which will be out on Re:Mission Entertainment.

Ex-Hyena was formed in 2020, and since then released two albums (2021’s “Artificial Pulse” and 2022’s “Moon Reflections”), a remix album (2023’s “Moon Reflections Remixed”), and several singles and EPs. The duo also collaborated with Control I’m Here, Hororhaus, BlakLight, Pleasure Policy, Jackson VanHorn, Denial Waits, Blood Handsome, The Mystic Underground, Maduro, and others.

Die Prager Gothic Rocker CATHEDRAL IN FLAMES haben ihre neue Single „Pale Rider“ vorgestellt. Der Song ist eine Hommage sowohl an klassische Westernfilme als auch an den Komponisten Ennio Morricone. Die obligatorischen massiven Refrains, Gothic-Rock-Western-Melodica und klingende Gitarren untermalen die düstere Geschichte eines okkulten Kampfes gegen den Krebs. Begleitet wird die Single von einem Horror-Clip vom Mitternachtsfriedhof, wo längst verstorbene Cthulhu-Revolverhelden unter den wachsamen Augen des Vierers Ambra, Phil, Gatsby und Billac zum Leben erwachen. Gatsby, der den grausamen Desperado darstellt, benutzte in dem Clip sogar eine exakte Nachbildung von Clint Eastwoods Hut, dessen Zitat den gesamten Song einleitet.
Sänger und Texter Phil Lee Fall sagt über das Album: „Wir haben die Western-Aspekte in unserer Art von Gothic-Rock schon immer geliebt und genutzt, und wir haben sie in Pale Rider auf die Spitze getrieben. Cowboy-Gitarren, schreiende Cowboys, Clint Eastwood und Lovecraftsche Poesie. Der totale Country-Overkill. Und doch feuert es wie ein schwarzes Teufelsschwein auf allen Zylindern.“

Und Gatsby, der Autor der Musik, fügt hinzu: „Ich liebe Western, Ennio Morricone, und all das habe ich in „Pale Rider“ einfließen lassen. Ich habe einen düsteren Gothic-Cowboy-Shuffle mit einem unheimlich dämonischen Refrain geschrieben. Der Mix war ein harter Kampf, bei dem John viel Geduld aufbringen musste, um zufrieden zu sein, aber das Ergebnis ist es wert! Immerhin ist es der Titelsong des kommenden Albums.“

Unser zweites Album “Ovdan” erscheint im April über A.O.P Records. “Ovdan” bedeutet Verlust, das Album wurde während einer dunklen Phase unseres Lebens geschrieben und aufgenommen. Dieser kreative Prozess war wie eine Heilung, wir sind nach traumatischen Ereignissen wieder ins Leben zurückgekehrt. Musikalisch haben wir unsere Grenzen erweitert, gleichzeitig folgen wir weiterhin der Vision unseres Debütalbum “Hollow” (2020). Die Blackened Doom Metal-Band TEMPLE OF THE FUZZ WITCH hat einen Labeldeal bei Ripple Music unterschrieben. Dieser sieht unter anderem den Release des neuen Albums “Apotheosis” vor, welches am 5. April 2024 erscheinen wird. Das Album wurde von Pete Grossman bei Bricktop Recording gemixt und von Chris Fielding im Skyhammer Studio gemastert. Vorab gibt es nach dem Song “Ashes” nun auch den Track “Bow Down” zu hören.

“Apotheosis” ist nach “Temple of the Fuzz Witch” (2019) und “Red Tide” (2020) das dritte Album des US-amerikanischen Trios aus Detroit, welches aus Sänger, Gitarrist und Synthesizer Noah Bruner, Bassist Joe Peet sowie Drummer Taylor Christian besteht.

Die Progressive Metalcore / Alternative-Band PALEDUSK hat mit “PALEHELL” ein neues Musikvideo bei YouTube geteilt. Es handelt sich dabei um den Titeltrack der neuen EP, die seit 21. Februar 2024 via SharpTone Records erhältlich ist.

Zuvor hatte die Gruppe mit “Rumble” einen neuen Song bei YouTube hochgeladen. Als Gast zu hören ist zudem Masato (COLDRAIN).

Im Frühjahr 2023 schloss man einen Vertrag mit SharpTone Records ab. Um den Labeldeal zu feiern veröffentlichte die Formation auch einen neuen Song samt Musikvideo: “I’m Ready To Die For My Friends” steht via YouTube in Bild und Ton bereit. Als Gast ist außerdem VIGORMAN mit an Bord.

Die Black / Death Metal-Band ADON hat mit dem Video-Clip zu “Axiom” eine erste Single von ihrem kommenden und selbstbetitelten Album veröffentlicht. Es ist ein Lied, das die Geschichte eines Menschen erzählt, der beim Eintritt in ein schwarzes Loch ins Nichts gestreckt wird.

“Adon” ist das erste Album des US-amerikanischen Duos, welches aus Æthelwulf II und Nath besteht. Als Gäste wirkten zudem Chris Beattie, Justin Sakogawa, Ember Belladonna und Kyle Schaefer mit. Erscheinen wird das Album am 12. April 2024.

Vom 15. bis 17. August 2024 findet im niedersächsischen Sulingen das RELOAD FESTIVAL 2024 statt. Tickets gibt es aktuell für 179,-€ über die offizielle Festival-Homepage.

Mit einem letzten Update haben die Organisatoren nun das Line-up komplettiert: Auftreten werden der Headliner HEAVEN SHALL BURN an der Seite von Acts wie PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS, NASTY, BUTCHER BABIES, MASSENDEFEKT, UNPROCESSED, SYLOSIS, AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS, BODYSNATCHER, ANKOR sowie ANCHORS & HEARTS.

Kurz vor Weihnachten folgte eine zweite Ankündigungswelle mit zahlreichen neuen Bands, darunter auch der Headliner KORN. Die Alternative Rock-Band LETTERS SENT HOME hat Ende 2023 einen Plattenvertrag mit SharpTone Records abgeschlossen. Das neue Album “Forever Undone” ist für den 12. April 2024 auf CD, Vinyl sowie digital angekündigt. Darauf enthalten ist auch die neue Single “Ignorance“, bei der auch DEAD LAKES mitwirken.

Zuletzt stellte man die neue Single “I hope I die first.” sowie den Track “Request Denied” mit einem Videoclip bei YouTube vor. Auch “Elements” ist vorab im Stream verfügbar.
