Die Heavy Metal-Band NEONFLY stellt ihre neue Live-EP “Master Tapes – 10 Years Live At Masters Of Rock” mit einem Mitschnitt des Songs “Highways To Nowhere” bei YouTube vor. Enthalten wird die Scheibe fünf Songs, die allesamt zu verschiedenen Zeitpunkten auf dem MASTERS OF ROCK-Festival aufgezeichnet wurden. Die Band erklärt dies mit einer besonderen Bindung zum Open Air:

“Unsere Reise mit Masters of Rock begann 2012, als wir auf einer voll gepackten zweiten Bühne spielten und die Herzen und Gemüter aller Anwesenden gewinnen konnten. Dies führte dazu, dass wir im darauffolgenden Jahr zurückkehrten und zu einem frühen Nachmittagsslot auf der Hauptbühne befördert wurden. The tale of Cain and Abel in the Book of Genesis explores jealousy, sin, and divine judgment. Cain’s envy toward Abel, whose offering finds favor with God, drives him to commit the first murder, mirroring the unsettling symbolism of frogs in biblical lore. Frogs, symbols of impurity and chaos, descend upon Egypt in a divine plague, disrupting order and challenging the gods.

Both stories show divine reactions to human failings. Cain becomes a restless wanderer, bearing the mark of his sin, while the plague of frogs represents divine displeasure and chaos. These tales highlight the impact of defying divine order and the ensuing disorder.

Yet, within these dark threads lies a message of repentance and redemption. Both stories underscore the potential for atonement and the restoration of harmony, even in our darkest moments.

After unveiling the Wild God title track in March, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds return with Frogs, another single from their latest album, once again delving into Old Testament parables and infusing them with their delightfully bizarre spin. Frogs stands as one of the earliest compositions for this project, weaving in allusions to Cain and Abel. Cave’s haunting lyrics and the band’s evocative performance conjure a world where ancient stories of jealousy and divine judgment echo through the modern landscape. They underscore a profound truth: humanity’s dominion over nature is an illusion, and respect for its indomitable will is paramount.

“The sheer exuberance of a song like Frogs, it just puts a big fucking smile on my face,” Cave succinctly concludes.

Ours, too. It’s a bizarrely esoteric track, sure, but we don’t mind if the Bad Seeds invite that can-kicking Kris Kristofferson along – because after all, he’s coming down on Sunday morning, too.

With Frogs, it’s evident that The Bad Seeds have found a new spark. Their music, occasionally nodding to their storied past, primarily ventures into uncharted territories, fueling their relentless drive forward. Likewise, Wild God showcases a band that refuses to rest on their laurels, driven by a spirit of innovation and a hunger for exploration. This is not merely a return, but a bold leap into the unknown.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are set to release Wild God on August 30th via Bad Seed/Play It Again Sam. The band—Cave, Ellis, Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Jim Sclavunos, and George Vjestica—wrote and recorded Wild God at Miraval Studios in the French City of Provence and at Soundtree Studios in London.

Wild God marks Cave’s 18th collaboration with the Bad Seeds and follows the critically acclaimed Ghosteen from 2019. In addition,  Cave also worked on Carnage with Warren Ellis of the Bad Seeds in 2021. Wild God is a collaborative production effort between Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, with David Fridmann handling the mixing. The album features contributions from Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on bass, with whom Cave toured last year, and Luis Almau on nylon string and acoustic guitar.

Am 31. Mai und 1. Juni 2024 geht das BAVARIAN BATTLE OPEN AIR in seine elfte Runde. Stattfinden wird das Event wie gehabt in Kirchdorf bei Haag in Oberbayern. Anfang April 2024 haben die Organisatoren mit ANDREAS KALB und HURRICANE HOAGASCHT, die beide am Samstag das Weißwurstfrühstück musikalisch untermalen werden, das Line-up komplettiert. Zuvor gab es mit dem Headliner ROTTING CHRIST sowie BIASCHTL BOIS zwei weitere Act für das Open Air.

Im November noch hatte man mit BATTLECREEK eine weitere Band des Line-ups enthüllt. Zuvor wurde mit TSJUDER einer der Headliner der kommenden Ausgabe bestätigt. Außerdem sind DISTASTE, NITROGODS, SCHIZOPHRENIA, CROM, SHIRENC PLAYS PUNGENT STENCH, THE SPIRIT, INFEST, NERVECELL, PORNTHEGORE und LAVE mit dabei – die Rosenheimer haben zuvor das BAVARIAN METAL BATTLE gewonnen.

Als ersten Act (und ersten Headliner) wurden Ende August 2023 TANKARD bestätigt – TANKARD spielten übrigens auch auf dem allerersten BAVARIAN BATTLE WINTER im Jahr 2005.

Die ersten 300 Tickets gab es zum Preis von 65,-€ (inkl. Gebühren und Versand) als Early-Bird-Tarif. Die dritte und finale Preisstufe betrug 75,-€ (zzgl. Gebühren). Mittlerweile ist das Event ausverkauft.

Der Vorverkauf startete am 1. Juli 2023 – Tickets waren u.a. via bavarianbattle.de erhältlich.

Die japanische Metalcore-Band CRYSTAL LAKE hat einen Plattenvertrag mit Century Media abgeschlossen. Den Deal kommentiert Gitarrist Yudai “YD” Miyamoto wie folgt:

„Wir sind mit vielen Century Media-Bands aufgewachsen. Wir lieben die Geschichte des Labels und freuen uns, ein Teil davon zu sein und neue Geschichte zu schreiben.“

Zeitgleich erscheint die neue Single “Blüdgod” als Visualizer-Clip bei YouTube. Sie soll die Wartezeit auf das neue Studioalbum verkürzen, das 2025 über das neue Label erscheinen soll. Als Gast ist hier außerdem Shouter Taylor Barber (LEFT TO SUFFER) zu hören.

Im Herbst 2023 teilten CRYSTAL LAKE mit “Dystopia” einen weiteren neuen Song bei YouTube. Außerdem veröffentlichte man im Juni 2023 mit “Denial // Rebirth” eine Doppel-Single. Zu beiden Tracks hat die Formation ein Musikvideo gedreht: “Denial” bei YouTube sowie “Rebirth” bei YouTube.

Es handelt sich dabei um das erste Material mit dem neuen Sänger John Robert Centorrino (ex-THE LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE), welcher das Erbe Ryo Kinoshitas antritt, der die Band 2022 gesundheitsbedingt verlassen hatte.

Die Doom Metal-Band TEMPLE WITCH hat einen Labeldeal bei Wormholedeath Records unterschrieben. Im Zuge dessen werden die US-Amerikaner aus Ohio ihr neues Album “Ocean Thousand, Mountain Thousand” veröffentlichen.

“Das Album konfrontiert mit persönlichem Verlust, verzweifelter Verwirrung und Einsamkeit, und – was vielleicht am wichtigsten ist – das Album handelt von Veränderungen und dem daraus resultierenden Wachstum”, erklärt die Band.

“Ocean Thousand, Mountain Thousand” ist nach “Hand in Hand with Chaos” (2021) das zweite Album der 2020 gegründeten Band und wird am 30. August 2024 erscheinen. Vorab gibt es den Track “Knew It Once” zu hören.

SABATON haben für 11. Oktober 2024 eine Kinopremiere angekündigt: An diesem Tag läuft der Konzertfilm “The Tour To End All Tours” in ausgewählten Lichtspielhäusern, Tickets für die Vorstellungen gibt es ab 26. August 2024, eine laufend aktualisierte Liste der teilnehmenden Kinos kann man sich auf sabaton.film ansehen. Derzeit sind noch keine Städte offiziell bestätigt (Stand: 30.05.2024).

Aufgezeichnet wurde die Show während der Tour 2023 im Amsterdamer Ziggo Dome. Einen Trailer haben die Schweden vorab bei YouTube geteilt. Bassist und Gründungsmitglied Pär Sundström erklärt:

„Im Jahr 2023 haben wir unsere bisher größte Tour unternommen, und allein in Europa haben wir über 50.000 Kilometer zurückgelegt mit einem engagierten Team von 170 unglaublichen Menschen, 9 Bussen, 12 Trucks und sogar einem Panzer! ‘The Tour To End All Tours’ war eine unvergessliche Reise für jeden von uns – einzigartig, aufregend und sehr erkenntnisreich. Wir wollten diese außergewöhnliche Erfahrung mit allen teilen, besonders mit denen, die aus welchen Gründen auch immer unsere Live-Shows nicht besuchen konnten.

The debut album from Bound By Endogamy, a Genevan duo featuring Shlomo Balexert and Kleio Thomaïdes, is like a high-octane factory tour—fast, furious, and unapologetically raw. Bound By Endogamy drags their punk roots onto the techno dancefloor, delivering a relentless first album that shifts gears from high-energy industrial anthems to coldwave heartstrings. Their music, a fusion of industrial, electro, and coldwave, hits you with a rhythmic punch.

Shlomo and Kleio, the masterminds behind the group, are longtime veterans of Geneva’s punk and squat scene veterans, thriving in the Swiss city’s countercultural underbelly. Shlomo’s squat-mates sparked his “escape normal life” vibe, while Kleio juggles BBE, her EBM band Savage Grounds, truck repairs, and teaching photography.

Their live shows are punk DIY at its finest, with Shlomo on ‘real’ drums to crank up the energy. Yet, their loyalty in the studio lies with drum machines— notably, the vintage Electro-Harmonix DRM16 from 1978 and the modern Korg Volca Drum synth, blending old-school grit with new-school beats.

The trippy Going To The Mine kicks off with spacey, d믭-out synths and thudding kick drums that scream big room techno but soon morph into a stompy rhythm reminiscent of a hypnotic jazz-era Funeral March. Kleio’s deadpan declaration of heading to the mines feels less like excitement and more like she’s in a state of unhinged resignation toward her bleak factory fate. Think Metropolis with a hangover and a Synth-Punk version of the Merle Travis folk classic Sixteen Tons.

The video, however, flips the script. Instead of the black-coated griminess of coal mines, we get a slow-motion locker room scene with freshly showered and saunaed individuals applying body spray. At least the mines will smell fresh, right? Is there charcoal in that deodorant?

Bound By Endogamy’s origin story goes back to early 2020, when Shlomo and Kleio first cranked up their project. Nearly three years of writing, recording, editing, and mixing in their home studio finally birthed this album. If you’re sensing a perfectionist streak, don’t expect slick, high-tech production. Armed with a modest but mighty collection of hardware, they lean into the fuzz, crunch, and hum of analog electronics with an ever-present punk aesthetic.

Their self-titled eight-track release, debuting on Swiss label Bongo Joe Records, follows a 2021 single and an early 2023 EP. It’s a rough-and-tumble ride through a musical factory line, cranking out tracks that hit like a pneumatic drill.

The world’s gone topsy-turvy, like some cosmic trickster decided to flip the board game of life and shake all the pieces. Mentioning we’re in an era of seismic change and chaos feels almost quaint, like saying water is wet. Montreal’s We Are Wolves, in their sixth album, seem to have decided that if the world’s ending, we might as well go out with a bang and a fiery dance. Sure, you could label it dystopian dance-rock, but really, it’s more like a magical incantation, a way to turn The End into just another phase. For a while, amid the chaos, it gives us something to groove to.

When Alexander Ortiz and Vincent Levesque hit the early 2000s Montreal music scene, they brought chaos. Eschewing the “rock’n’roll revival,” they favored analogue synthesizers and drum machines over white belts and guitars. Their heavily rhythmic, primitive sounds, combined with primal scream vocals, anticipated the dance/art/punk explosion of LCD Soundsystem and Bloc Party.

Now, We Are Wolves have unleashed their scorching new single Transition, marking their first release since 2019’s La main de Dieu. Think of it as “dystopian dance-rock,” drawing you in with swelling synth and irresistible booming drums. With Transition, We Are Wolves weave together synth rock, garage rock, cold wave, post-punk, cumbia, tropical psych, and ’90s alt-rock, resulting in a mixtape that spans decades and continents. Themes of confusion and alienation dance hand-in-hand with the sharp precision of expert pop craftsmanship.

The lyrics describe confusion and overwhelming information, leading to a sense of transition and intermission. There’s a feeling of division and disorientation, with mentions of forgetting and leaving thoughts behind, highlighting the chaos and uncertainty of this new transition. The imagery evokes a sense of being lost amidst too much information.

“Transition is about the exaggerated surplus of information we’re constantly confronted with,” says the band. “By trying to navigate through this flow and overstimulation, we find ourselves completely lost, polarized, and dissociated from reality. We’re continually in a state of transition, without ever having a grip or foundation to rely on.”

The world may be aflame, but at least we’ve got some killer tunes to go out with. Featuring the guitar sorcery of Oliver Ackermann from A Place To Bury Strangers/Death By Audio, and Joseph Yarmush of SUUNS, this new album is brought to you by the band’s stalwart label, Simone Records. Self-produced, it was recorded in a variety of places: at Death By Audio NYC with Ackermann (a true alchemist of sound), with Odin Parada in Mexico (because why not add a bit of spice?), and by Vincent and Alex in their studio (a secret lair, no doubt). The final mix was magicked into existence in Montreal by engineer Adrian Popovich (SUUNS, DFA1979, Duchess Says). It’s the perfect soundtrack for dancing on the edge of oblivion.

Transition by We Are Wolves

Post-Punk.com had a few questions for the Montreal maestros:

You mention that “Transition” deals with the surplus of information and overstimulation in modern life. How do you personally navigate these challenges, and how does it reflect in your music?

Hummmm i feel like I don’t. lol….Like I try hard to navigate but can’t. I’m just learning how to float and not drown. A constant struggle. Very interesting but exhausting. It reminds me of the amazing song from Anika, No One’s There.

You recorded the new album in multiple locations, including NYC, Mexico, and your own studio. How did these different environments influence the album’s sound and production?

Definitely the environment, the location and the persons we recorded within Mexico and Nyc influenced those specific songs. But in a strange way they could be interchangeable. The songs recorded in Mexico feel happy and joyful in the vibe even tho I remember feeling very anxious and kinda depressed and the songs recorded in New York with Oliver (from APTBS) are darker and heavier even if I remember feeling happier and less anxious/depressed than the previous session recording in Mexico.

And all the rest that was recorded in Montreal was an in between. An inter zone.

Night Sins, the Philadelphia-based brainchild of the ever-charismatic musician Kyle Kimball, is a delightful concoction of classic EBM’s pulsating energy, post-punk’s brooding introspection, and synth-pop’s catchy melodies in their new EP, A Silver Blade In The Shadow (out now via Born Losers Records). Imagine early Nine Inch Nails meeting Depeche Mode at a retro-futuristic party, where everyone’s dressed in black, and the mood lighting is permanently set to brooding and mysterious.

Kimball’s vocals slice through this textured backdrop with sharp clarity and strong presence.  Night Sins also tips its hat to the electronic enthusiasm of the ’80s, echoing the vibes of Front 242 and A Split-Second, with a cheeky nod to the funky, pioneering sounds of Wax Trax’s late ’80s roster. It’s a dance floor invitation you can’t refuse unless you need a moment to lace up your docs.

The album kicks off with The Lowest Places You’ll Go, a track that nudges you gently and says, “Hey, you’re not defined by your worst moments. Everyone’s got their own unique charm and is deserving of love.” It’s a reassuring pat on the back, telling you that fear should never be your co-pilot. In true fashion, it’s a reminder that we all stumble into life’s potholes, but it’s how we bounce back that counts.



Silver Blade launches the band on a true macabre trad goth side quest. It sounds more like a lost Sisters of Mercy track than their usual industrial EBM oeuvre. The track delves into the messiness of fractured relationships, delivering a heartfelt message about accepting the end and moving on. It’s a tear-jerker, not just for the drama but for the full emotional plunge. It is a perfect anthem for when you’re feeling like a waterlogged goth in a rain-soaked trench coat who waits beneath a scaffold for a storm to pass.

The vibes pick up with Burn Away, an industrial-flavoured number that feels like an homage to the early Mute Records roster. Picture a relentless bassline driving a terrific dance beat, making you want to don your finest black attire and stomp your way through the night. It’s a rhythmic reminder that sometimes, the best way to deal with life’s nonsense is to dance it off with a heavy dose of industrial grit.



Next up is Like A Stranger, which cranks up the gothic rock dial with another forceful beat straight out of the Sisters of Mercy playbook. The soaring guitar work sweeps you into an anthemic chorus that’s perfect for belting out your existential angst in the shower or at a dimly lit club where everyone’s sporting eyeliner and a thousand-yard stare.

The album wraps up with Hollow, a hi-NRG banger that blasts through your speakers with frenzied drumming and an infectious hook. It’s the kind of track that makes you feel like you’ve just mainlined pure energy, leaving you with no choice but to surrender to its manic tempo. It’s a fittingly explosive end to an album that’s all about finding the light in the darkest corners, even if you have to kick up some dust to get there.

Die Metalcore-Band VINTA geht im Oktober 2024 auf ihre erste Headline-Tour. Angesetzt sind Shows in München, Leipzig, Hamburg, Berlin, Hannover sowie Köln. Ex-EQUILIBRIUM-Sänger ROBSE  hat Details zu seinem ersten Album und seiner neuen Band bekannt gegeben: Am 16. August 2024 erscheint das Debüt “Harlekin und Krieger”, das elf Stücke umfasst und mit einem Cover-Artwork von Künstler Valtyr daherkommt.

Schon Anfang April gab es den ersten Vorgeschmack: Ein Lyric-Video zum Titeltrack steht bei YouTube bereit. Der Frontmann erläutert:

“Wir sind unglaublich aufgeregt und stolz, euch endlich unseren allerersten Song vorstellen zu können. ‘Harlekin & Krieger’ ist der Titeltrack unseres gleichnamigen Albums, das im August das Licht der Welt erblicken wird.

Harlekin, der Narr des Lebens, tanzt mit unbändiger Freude, und erinnert uns daran, dass wir stets mit einem Lächeln durchs Leben gehen sollten, egal welche Herausforderungen uns erwarten. Doch der Krieger steht bereit, die Schlachten des Lebens mit Mut und Entschlossenheit zu schlagen.

A new festival, Shadowplay, for darkwave, goth and electropop will take place in Skurup in southern Sweden on September 28. The first live acts have already been announced. These are: Agent Side Grinder, The Mobile Homes, Then Comes Silence, Abu Nein, True Moon and Gallows’Eve. The one-day festival is organised by Club UFO.

Instrumentaler Post Metal aus Neuseeland: Mit “The Aurochs” haben THOUSAND LIMBS für 19. Juli 2024 ihr Debütalbum angekündigt. Erscheinen wird die Platte zunächst rein digital via Azathoth Records. Inhaltlich basiert die Platte auf Kakuan Shiens “Ten Ox-herding Pictures”, eine Reihe von Holzschnitten, wie Gitarrist Patrick Gray erläutert:

„Es ist eine klangliche Interpretation eines immerwährenden Zyklus von Trennung und Wiedervereinigung mit einer spirituellen Praxis. Die Holzschnitte fungieren als außermusikalischer Leitfaden, mit einem wiederkehrenden Motiv, das das verlorene Tier im Wald darstellt, das verschwindet und im Laufe des Albums wieder auftaucht.“

Reinhören ist vorab in die Singles “Fall of Body And Mind“, “A Boundless Heart“, “A Dim Light To Guide” sowie “The Aurochs – Ensnared” möglich.

Aufgenommen und gemischt wurde “The Aurochs” von Dave Rhodes, das Mastering übernahm Luke Finlay. Für das Artwork zeichnet schließlich Gordiart verantwortlich.

Die Briten DEFECTS haben vergangenen Freitag ihr Debütalbum „Modern Error“ über Mascot Records veröffentlicht. Nun haben sie mit „Echo Chamber“ einen weiteren Song daraus online gestellt.

Bereits vorher wurden mehrere Songs präsentiert. So gab es Videos zu den Songs „Broken Bloodlines“, zu „Lockdown“ , zu „Dream Awake“ sowie zum Titelsong „Modern Error“.

“Modern Error” ist ein zutiefst kathartisches Album, das Sänger Tony Maue als Gefäß dient, um seine Gedanken über das Trauma zu ordnen, in jungen Jahren in Obhut genommen zu werden. Durch das Album ziehen sich Maues Erfahrungen, die Verbindung der fünf Bandmitglieder und die Frage, warum es in diesem Moment, genau jetzt, die richtige Zeit für diese Band ist, zu existieren. Für sich selbst genauso wie für alle anderen.

Bei zahlreichen Shows konnten DEFECTS überzeugen. So auch im März als Support für ORBIT CULTURE in München.

The intensity of Baltimore-based L’Avenir’s new LP, Imagination, burns bright. Between the stinging melancholy of synth pads and the danceability of the beat, Imagination—that was released on May 23rd—feels like the reincarnation of Clan of Xymox‘s Medusa or a long-lost album from the French coldwave era. The treacherous bite of producer Jason Sloan’s ten song LP (with a remix by Kiss of the Whip) is rife with shattered dreams and empty futures—from the elegance of “In Silence” to the epic synth line of “Windows,” there’s plenty of gloom to behold.

With the single, “The Snow,” the producer delves into a sorrowful chill that’s reflective of work by Silent EM or Un Hombre Solo. The track is danceable in its prominent percussive elements but remains serious and somber—it is music for which to dance and cry simultaneously. The title fits: the grey endlessness of the lonesome winter wraps its arms tightly around “The Snow.”

Die Death Metal-Band ILLDISPOSED hat ihr neues Album “In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust” für 28. Juni 2024 angekündigt. Erscheinen wird die Platte via Massacre Records auf CD, Vinyl sowie digital. Vorab steht nun die zweite Single “I Walk Among The Living” auf den üblichen Streaming-Plattformen bereit.

Gemischt und gemastert wurde “In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust” von Tue Madsen, das Artwork gestaltete Timon Kokott. Es ist die erste Platte seit der Rückkehr von Ex-Gitarrist Ken Holst, die erste Single “Spitting Your Pain” ist auf allen gängigen Streaming-Portalen verfügbar.

The Ukranian artist Скубут (Skubut)—now located in Vienna, Austria—announces his third studio album Pogranichnyi, which was self-released on May 17th. Meaning “borderline” in Ukranian, the ten-track LP is just that: it teases between the variables of old and new darkwave and coldwave genres, acting as a solid border between the decades-long legacy within this specific branch of post-punk music. Retaining the vulnerability and vibrance of 1980s darkwave progenitors such as the Polish band Siekiera, Скубут encompasses the atmospheric bleakness of unfettered darkwave.

The first track, “T’ma” (which translates to “dark”) is, as Скубут describes, “a journey into the night, where the darkness becomes a comforting and eternal fate. Dark and beautiful.” From the heartbreak of the song’s introductory synths to the sweeping strings and climbing guitar patterns, Скубут encapsulates sorrow. “T’ma” would fit next to any of Fabrika Records‘ output or within a proper Twin Tribes or Ploho playlist.

Die Metalcore-Band INVENT ANIMATE veröffentlicht ihr aktuelles Album “Heavener” (2023) am 31. Mai 2024 als “Definitive Edition” via UNFD neu. Verboden is dedicated to expanding the horizons of dark electronic music, amplifying the unique sounds of its roster across North America, Europe, and beyond.

Now, Verboden announces the release of ANI’s debut LP, Folie à deux, which was released on May 3rd, 2024, and is available in vinyl and digital formats. Folie à deux showcases the collective talent and creative vision of Philip Traikovski and Ana Klahr, delivering a fusion of darkwave and synth-pop with thought-provoking lyrics, vocals, and immersive melodies.

Conceived amidst the sunlit days of 2019’s summer in Vancouver, Ringfinger treads the nebulous boundaries separating darkwave from post-punk. Drawing equal inspiration from the chilly embrace of Canadian winters, vintage horror cinema, and the venerated pioneers of their musical realm, they craft their sound with the enveloping embrace of chorused guitars, set against the backdrop of expansive synthesizer tableaux and vocals bathed in delay.

In the shadowed corners of Vancouver’s dynamic underground music scene, a post-industrial/darkwave duo named Wire Spine materialized in 2015. Harnessing both digital and analogue synthesizers and drum machines, they crafted a soundscape that evokes the mounting tension of being lost in an abyss, devoid of hope. From the frost-laden reaches of the North, an album titled Lapland emerges from Total Chroma‘s creative enclave, a profound exploration of Katerwol’s Sami heritage. The Sami, indigenous inhabitants of the Arctic, have sung their histories across the icy landscapes, fjords, and tundras of Scandinavia and Russia for countless generations. Their past, as intricate and enigmatic as the Northern forests, is steeped in both richness and shadows. The track “Such Filth” transforms into an anthem of cyclical rebirth, embodying the belief that from the depths of darkness and decay, radiant beauty can arise. It’s a chant, a hymn to origins and the phoenix-like ascent from desolation.

Montreal’s Renonce pushes their cacophonous and abrasive ambitions to the extreme. Raw and unyielding, this brutalist opus stands as a colossal and staggering force; a darkwave-infused industrial monument dedicated to the art of ennui.

Die Metalcore-Band NEAERA stellt ihr neues Album “All Is Dust” mit einem Musikvideo zum Titelstück bei YouTube vor. Die nunmehr achte Studioplatte der Münsteraner folgt auf das selbstbetitelte “Neaera” (2020) und enthält zehn neue Tracks. Auch einen Videoclip zur ersten Single “Pacifier” kann man sich bei YouTube anschauen.

Erscheinen wird “All Is Dust” am 28. Juni 2024 via Metal Blade auf CD, Vinyl sowie digital.

Für 14. September 2024 ist zudem eine Release-Show im Skaters Palace in Münster mit BREAKDOWN OF SANITY angesetzt.

“Back With A Bang” ist der Titel des achten Studioalbums von KISSIN‘ DYNAMITE, es erscheint am 5. Juli 2024. Ob der Titel zu viel verspricht, kann man nun auch anhand des Titelsongs bei YouTube überprüfen.

Das Stück folgt auf die Preview-Songs “My Monster” und “The Devil Is A Woman“. Mitte März teilte die Band die erste Single “Raise Your Glass” mitsamt des dazugehörigen Videos.

Die Band beschreibt ihre neue Platte so:

Wir sind wieder da – und zwar mit einem großen Knall! Wir sind schließlich keine Band verkopfter Konzepte, deshalb kommen wir mit ‘Back With A Bang’ lieber direkt zur Sache. Unsere Mission? Arena-Rock allererster Güte. Unsere Fans erwartet ein KISSIN’ DYNAMITE-Album in Reinform: Gereift, ehrlich und intensiv!
