Mit “Shattered Elysium” wird am 27. September 2024 via Moribund Records das neue Album der Thrash Metal-Band TRISKELYON erscheinen. Es ist nach “Downfall” (2022) und “Artificial Insanity” (2023) das dritte Album der kanadischen Band, die im Grunde von Gitarrist Geoff Waye (CATEGORY VI, ARTACH) geführt wird. Für das Drumming zeichnet Raul Marques (BURNING TORMENT) verantwortlich, während die Gesnags-Parts zwischen Amanda Kiernan (INTO ETERNITY, THE ORDER OF CHAOS), Eric Forrest (E-FORCE, ex-VOIVOD), Tiina Teal (DÉTENTE), Amanda Jackman (CATEGORY VI), Armin Kamal (INFRARED), Dale Drew (SEA DOGS), Fíochmhar (ARTACH), Des Mason und Pete Healey aufgeteilt worden sind.

Today marks the monumental release of “Alone,” The Cure’s first new song in 16 years, which premiered on Mary Anne Hobbs’s BBC Radio 6 Music show. The track serves as the lead single from their eagerly awaited album, Songs Of A Lost World, and has been met with fervent excitement, especially after a 30-second teaser was shared last week via the band’s Songs Of A Lost World website and their WhatsApp channel.

“Alone” clocks in at nearly seven minutes, and it feels more like a deep cut designed for diehard Cure fans than a radio-friendly single. With its ghostly textures slowly unraveling before Robert Smith’s unmistakable voice enters around the halfway mark, delivering the haunting line the band has long been teasing: “This is the end of every song that we sing.” The track evokes the mood of Lost Wishes and the haunting elegance of Disintegration, leaning into The Cure’s more cinematic and atmospheric side. Enveloped in a brooding, slow-burning atmosphere, “Alone” conjures a sense of introspection, carried by mournful keys, a crawling tempo, and the band’s signature, melancholic guitar tones.

Smith revealed in a statement, “It’s the track that unlocked the record; as soon as we had that piece of music recorded, I knew it was the opening song, and I felt the whole album come into focus.” He added, “I had been struggling to find the right opening line for a while, working with the simple idea of ‘being alone,’ always in the back of my mind this nagging feeling that I already knew what the opening line should be.”

That clarity came after a sudden memory of the poem Dregs by the English poet Ernest Dowson, which Smith credits for bringing the song—and the entire album—into sharp focus: “As soon as we finished recording, I remembered the poem, and that was the moment I knew the song—and the album—were real.”

The anticipation surrounding “Alone”—and indeed the album itself—has been building since The Cure’s 2022-2023 tour, where they performed the song live to sold-out audiences eager for the new material. The song served as the opener for those shows, casting a melancholic spell from the start, its crawling tempo and symphonic weight only heightening the air of anticipation. That Smith chose to lead with “Alone” during those performances feels significant; it’s an invitation back into The Cure’s world, where loss, longing, and memory intertwine in endless, mournful loops.

The band has also confirmed that their 14th studio album, Songs Of A Lost World, will be released on November 1st, with the full tracklisting and more details to be unveiled via their website and social media channels in the coming weeks.

The album Songs of a Lost World was written and arranged by Robert Smith and produced and mixed by Smith and Paul Corkett, who also produced Bloodflowers. It was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales.

Smith also crafted the visual concept for the album, with art direction and design by longtime Cure collaborator Andy Vella. The cover art features Bagatelle, a 1975 sculpture by Janez Pirnat.

The album will be available in an impressive array of formats: a standard single LP, a Miles Showell Abbey Road half-speed master double LP, marble-colored single LP, double cassette, CD, a deluxe CD package that includes a Blu-ray featuring an instrumental version of the record, a Dolby Atmos mix, and digital formats.

Lyrically, “Alone” touches on themes of finality and loss with devastating poignancy. The Cure’s signature existential despair is at its peak here, as Smith sings:

“This is the end of every song that we sing
The fire burned out to ash
And the stars grown dim with tears
Cold and afraid
The ghosts of all that we’ve been
We toast with bitter dregs
To our emptiness.”

The song’s lyrics reflect a somber reckoning with the passage of time, unfulfilled dreams, and the inevitable end of everything, themes that have long been woven into The Cure’s music, but perhaps never with such palpable gravity.

As the anticipation continues to build for Songs of a Lost World, “Alone” serves as a powerful reminder that The Cure, even after decades in the game, can still craft songs with immense emotional weight.

Die Avantgarde / Progressive Metal-Band THY CATAFALQUE hat mit dem Video zu “Mindenevő” eine zweite Single ihres kommenden Albums “XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek” veröffentlicht. Es ist das zwölfte Album des seit über 25 Jahren laufenden Projekts von Tamás Kátai, an dem viele bisherige Wegbegleiter mitwirkten. Denn das Album knüpft auch an Kátais Vergangenheit und die Geschichte seines Heimatlandes an.

“XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek” wurde von Gábor Vári bei Miracle Sound in Szeged gemixt und gemastert. Release-Termin ist der 15. November 2024 via Season of Mist. Vorab gibt es auch einen Video-Clip zum Titeltrack, in welchem Kátai sebst durch die Straßen seiner Heimatstadt Makó läuft. Während sich der Weg durch die ruhige Landschaft schlängelt, wird er von seltsamen Szenen aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart begrüßt: verrostete Eisenbahnwaggons, Schlägereien mit bloßen Fäusten, mysteriöse Pakete, die im Wald deponiert werden, eine rothaarige Frau, die stoisch auf einem Feld singt. An einer Stelle wird er durch den Anblick seines Doppelgängers, der sein eigenes Grab aushebt, gestoppt.

“Ich stelle mir diese Lieder als Führer durch eine dunkle Nacht der Seele vor”, sagt Tamás Kátai. “Das Video ist sehr persönlich. Es wurde an Orten aus meiner Vergangenheit gedreht und fast alle Schauspieler sind meine alten Freunde.”

CARNAL TOMB aus Berlin sind aktuell eine der brutalsten Underground-Death Metal-Bands. Industrial icon and alternative music maverick Raymond Watts, a.k.a. PIG, delivers his debaucherous  Feast of Agony EP via Metropolis Records alongside the new video for the lead single, Fallout. This EP arrives on the trail of the remastered reissue of PIG’s landmark 1995 Sinsation and his latest studio album Red Room, released earlier this year via Metropolis Records.

Feast of Agony grinds grief through the gears of hope, a crushing clash of anger and redemption. Watts stokes the flames with his sordid swagger, turning rage into rhythm, urging you to follow the pulse of pain toward some fleeting relief. In these sinister sermons from the Lord of Lard, he gives voice to the voiceless and shines a harsh light on hollow truths, pulling you into his brutal and biting world.

The EP opens with the colossal Heroin for the Damned, roaring like a beast clawing its way out of a grave, trying to drown the pain of reality in a toxic cocktail of depravity. Co-written with Jim Davies (Pitchshifter), whose searing guitar riffs powered many of The Prodigy’s hits, the track is a relentless, scorching assault. The remaining songs are less of a remedy and more like a whispered invitation to the wastelands of despair, offering fleeting glimpses of truth from a mirage on the horizon. They pull you in, only to leave you stranded in the harsh light of disillusionment.

Fallout shifts gears into industrial glam, showcasing Watts’ porcine Bowie swagger, unleashing a bombastic and baroque genre-bending tune that drips with disillusionment and rebellion, a tale of recklessness wrapped in regret. The narrator, deadpan and defiant, finds twisted pleasure in playing the fool, blaming everyone else while clutching a gun in one hand and apathy in the other. Danger hangs in the air like smoke, hope flickers like a dying match, and inner demons dance to the beat of self-destruction. It’s a hard-boiled spiral of bad choices and bitter consequences, where falling apart feels like the only way to start again. The cycle is relentless—each new beginning bruised by the fallout of what came before.

The EP continues its surreal journey with The Comedown, a subterranean dive into a fevered landscape of Tom Waits, Scott Walker, and an especially Bowie-like madness. It’s a dark, avant-garde dream where gritty vocals echo through shadowy corridors, evoking a sense of disorientation and eerie wonder. The track exudes a brooding atmosphere, swirling with an undercurrent of tension that draws the listener deeper into a surreal world of fragmented thoughts and twisted soundscapes. It features a shanty-like line, like that sung by sailors lost at sea, with the refrain “hey hey, away we go, the boys in the barracks know,” which lingers like a ghostly echo. This descent into sonic madness gives way to the industrial funk of Hand of Mercy (Make the Cut), where razor-sharp grooves and mechanized beats slither alongside a pounding, relentless rhythm.

The EP’s penultimate track, The Ratchet Effect, circles back to the avant-garde with a buoyant, industrial-glam twist. It’s a progressive mutation of art-rock, cabaret, and lounge, with its melodic complexity and serpentine style balanced slither around mid-90s industrial experimentation and subtle traces of trip-hop. The EP culminates with Baptise, Bless & Bleed (Red Line Remix by Jim Davies), a soulful, more refined version of the song from 2022.

Raymond Watts has enjoyed a stellar career since starting out as a pioneering member of the mid-1980s industrial rock scene. In addition to releasing fourteen albums as PIG, he has toured with former bandmates KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, and Einstürzende Neubauten, written music for fashion and film (for Chloe, Marios Schwab, Halston, and The Row), created exhibition sound design for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and collaborated with the late fashion icon Alexander McQueen.

Watts will continue his oration against hopelessness, hypocrisy, and the ever-creeping tide of despair on PIG’s Heroin For The Damned Tour across North America, kicking off on September 28. Joined by Curse Mackey and Unitcode: Machine, this 40-date itinerary follows PIG’s headlining set at Cold Waves XII in Chicago.

Die Fun Metal-Band J.B.O. geht auch 2024 wieder auf Tour: Von September bis Dezember spielt die Formation unter dem Motto “Explizite Lyrik” eine Reihe von Konzerten in Deutschland. Nach dem Auftakt in München sieht sich die Formation allerdings gezwungen, einige der geplante Konzerte aufgrund von Krankheit zu verschieben. Betroffen sind alle Shows bis 12. Oktober 2024, für einige der Gigs konnten bereits Nachholtermine im Januar 2025 gefunden werden.

Bedenkt man, welche Platten oder CDs man sich direkt zur tatsächlichen Veröffentlichung gekauft hat, und wie viele davon gerade ihr x-tes Jubiläum feiern, da kann man sich ja schon mal alt fühlen. So auch bei BLACKMORE´S NIGHT, die ihr drittes Album nun als „Fires At Midnight – 25th Anniversary Edition“ neu auflegen. Wie zuvor „Shadow Of The Moon“ wurde auch dieses Album von den ursprünglichen Mehrspur-Bändern neu abgemischt. Es wird zudem zum ersten Mal als Vinyl-LP erhältlich sein. Dazu kommen alle Bonustracks der vorherigen Editionen sowie zwei Songs, die von Candice Night 2024 neu eingesungen wurden.

BLACKMORE´S NIGHT wandern auf „Fires At Midnight“ zwischen wohligen Folk/Mittelalterklängen und einer Portion angenehmem Kitsch
Der Charme der ersten beiden Alben ist hier etwas gewichen, „Fires At Midnight“ kam doch etwas zu glatt daher. „Written In The Stars“ schmeichelt sich leicht rockend ein, Herr BLACKMORE greift zur E-Gitarre. Mit „The Times They Are A-Changin“ verbeugt man sich wohlig schunkelnd vor BOB DYLAN, im Original auch schon 60 Jahre alt. „I Still Remember“ hört man gern, wieder schunkelt man mit, die Stratocaster singt orientalische Melodien und macht sich erfreulich breit. Mit viel Tralala und Flötengetröte mag man bei „Home Again“ an verrauchte Mittelalterschenken denken. Wer BLACKMORE´S NIGHT gern mal unterstellt, kitschig zu sein, der hat hier den Song dafür. „Crowning Of The King“ klingt, wie man ihn sich vorstellt. Die Szenen aus dem finalen Showdown der passenden Fantasy-Filme kennt man zur Genüge, dies ist der Soundtrack dazu.

So geht es weiter, BLACKMORE´S NIGHT bleiben sich treu und vertonen ihre eigenen Klischees. Ein Instrumental mit klassischer Gitarre, der catchy Titelsong wieder mit hohem Schunkelfaktor und griffigem DEEP PURPLigem Solopart. „Hanging Tree“ ist eigentlich der schönste Song, bringt am meisten vom verträumten folkigen Mittelaltersound. „Storm“ treibt sogar mal nach vorn, „Mid Winter’s Night“ könnte fast auch von LOREENA MCKENNITT sein. Was fehlt ist der wirklich fesselnde Song, man schunkelt sich angenehm durch das Album, genießt den Moment und vor allem die bezaubernde Stimme von Candice Night. Mit einem Becher warmen Met durchaus ein schöner Begleiter für die anstehenden Herbstabende.

Das haben aber die Fans von BLACKMORE´S NIGHT bereits im Regal stehen in irgendeiner Form der bisherigen Releases von „Fires At Midnight“. Braucht man dann die Bonussongs, wenn man sie irgendwo schon hat? Etwas peppiger könnte „All Because Of You“ auch von einer schwedischen Popband stammen. Der überarbeitete Sound ist stimmig ausgearbeitet, vielleicht ein bisschen zu sauber. Wer „Fires At Midnight“ bisher nicht hat, aber BLACKMORE´S NIGHT oder folkige Mittelalterklänge allgemein mag, der macht mit der neuen Geburtstagsedition nichts falsch. Oder wenn man das Album Trendbewusst als Vinyl haben möchte. Ob die Bonussongs reichen, um das Album nochmals zu kaufen, nun ja…

Die Heavy / Post-Rock-Band ORBITER hat mit “Distorted Folklore” ein neues Album angekündigt. Es ist nach “Southern Failures” (2019) das zweite Album der US-Amerikaner aus Florida und folgt der 2022er-EP “Head Wounds” nach.

“Distorted Folklore” ist ein lockeres Konzeptalbum, und im Laufe der Songs wird der Hörer auf eine Reise mitgenommen, auf der der Protagonist seinen Verstand in Frage stellt und mit Verlust, Isolation, Herzschmerz, Drogensucht und dem Zusammenbruch der Gesellschaft kämpft, bis er schließlich an den Rand einer existenziellen Krise gerät.

Das Album wurde gemeinsam mit Jonathan Nuñez (SHITSTORM, Ex-TORCHE) im Sound Artillery Studio in Miami aufgenommen und wird am 8. November 2024 via Salvaged Records erscheinen. Vorab gibt es zu “Time Rips” einen Video-Clip.

The world’s burning, and everyone’s too busy looking in the mirror to notice. Every screen we scroll, every headline we devour, it’s all part of the racket. The flood of information isn’t to enlighten—it’s to distract, to manipulate, to make us think our own reflection is the only thing worth worrying about. Mass media and social media are the perfect mirrors—warping our faces, feeding our insecurities, and giving us just enough of a glimpse of someone else’s chaos to make us feel better about our own. It’s a game, and the stakes are high.

The more the flames rise, the more we reach for the next dopamine hit—an ad here, a trending topic there. They keep us hooked, selling us outrage and comfort in the same breath. It’s the perfect loop: the world crumbles, and we’re too consumed with our filtered lives to do a damn thing about it. As the old saying goes, vanity kills.

The Awakening’s Mirror Midnight tackles the dystopian malaise with a hard-hitting, hypnotic edge. Ashton Nyte—the band’s frontman, multi-instrumentalist, and mastermind—was d믭 “Johannesburg’s Bowie” for his shape-shifting sounds and dramatic flair. Now stateside, Nyte’s gothic darkwave act fuses everything from post-punk grit to folk noir, electronic rock, and new wave, each track a reflection of society’s fractured psyche. The Awakening has evolved, but Nyte’s haunting voice and genre-bending instincts remain. With Mirror Midnight, Nyte offers no solace, only a mirror reflecting back the madness of a world teetering on the brink. This is the first taste of their self-titled album, which will be released on October 18 via Intervention Arts.

Ashton Nyte shot the video himself, staying true to his signature black-and-white style with a grim, German Expressionist twist. It’s a raw, unflinching reflection, where Nyte stares straight at the camera, delivering his message while the screen shifts from scenes of self-obsession to the cold, brutal realities of war and destruction. The contrast is glaring, offering a grim warning about the dangers of unchecked narcissism in a world teetering on the brink. Stark and unsettling, it’s a grim reminder of the thin line between self-absorption and societal collapse.

“Mirror Midnight is about the obsession of the self, as guided and fed and manipulated by mass media, social media and the endless flood of information and disinformation we all deal with constantly,” he says. “It’s the juxtaposition of succumbing to insidious and divisive marketing while the world goes up in flames. And how that cycle feeds itself. It’s a story almost as old as time, like the fairy tale it alludes to.”

The Awakening follows Nyte’s second book and eighth solo album Autumn’s Children. This new album is a celebration of the band’s roots and influences.

“Essentially, I fell in love all over again with the bands and albums that made me want to create this sort of art in the first place. It was a true joy to create this work,” says Ashton Nyte. “The last two Awakening albums were departures for me. This Alchemy (2021) explored the more electronic side of my musical personality, and The Passage Remains (2022) effectively cleared out the vaults of unreleased heavier material. It feels like it’s time to come home.”

A core contributor to LA-based supergroup Beauty In Chaos, having been involved with every album released to date, Nyte has collaborated with members of The Cure, The Mission, Tricky, All About Eve, as well as Peter Murphy’s band. 2024 also saw Nyte involved in the latest Beauty In Chaos album ‘Dancing With Angels.’

Ashton Nyte has toured extensively, headlining music festivals across the USA, Europe, and South Africa. Beyond the stage, he has written and starred in theatrical productions, while also hosting philanthropic events like his Rock Against Rape concert series. Nyte has presented lectures at US universities, promoting tolerance and acceptance. With a catalogue boasting over 300 original songs, The Awakening has enjoyed global radio airplay and chart success, with tracks featured in television shows and film scores.

From the end of September, EU and UK fans can hear the new material live in a career-spanning solo acoustic tour later this year. This will be Nyte’s first post-Covid tour, following a 36-date EU tour with The Mission’s Wayne Hussey in 2019.

Die “Faces Of Death”-Tour geht auch im Herbst 2024 in eine neue Runde: Angeführt wird das Line-up 2024 von SIGNS OF THE SWARM. Ursprünglich hätten darüber hinaus VEIL OF MAYA als Co-Headliner auftreten sollen. Da die Formation aber mit sofortiger Wirkung auf Eis liegt, entfällt auch deren Teilnahme. Einen Ersatz hat man aktuell noch nicht bekannt gegeben. Außerdem sind VARIALS sowie TO THE GRAVE im Vorprogramm mit dabei.

Angesetzt sind Konzerte in Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Nürnberg, München, Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Hannover sowie Köln. In Österreich gibt es eine Show in Wien, in der Schweiz macht man in Aarau halt.

Um die Vorfreude auf die Tour zu schüren, veröffentlichten SIGNS OF THE SWARM außerdem einen neuen Track: “IWONTLETYOUDIE” kann man als Video bei YouTube sehen.

Die Melodic Black Metal-Band PAINDEMONIUM plant für 2024 die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums “Latent”. Ein genauer Release-Termin und Details stehen zwar noch aus, reinhören ist aber schon jetzt möglich: Die Single “Conflation” gibt es u.a. als Audiostream bei YouTube und enthält darüber hinaus ein Gastfeature von Tim “Ripper” Owens (KK’S PRIEST).

Zuvor teilte das Trio den Preview-Track “All Hail The Desport” bei YouTube.

Das Naturkundemuseum Stuttgart am Löwentor wird zur Bühne für alle: Am 9. Oktober 2024 findet dort das METAL KARAOKE MASSACRE statt.

Gleichzeitig ist das auch eine der letzten Chancen die Sonderausstellung Rock Fossils zu besuchen, angeboten werden zusätzliche Highlight-Führungen durch das Museum. Die „Rock Fossils“-Ausstellung zeigt Fossilien, die Namen berühmter Rock. und Metal-Musiker tragen. Dargestellt werden die ausgestorbenen Tierarten durch Modelle und Rekonstruktionen. Natürlich darf die Musik selbst auch nicht fehlen: Von den BEATLES bis CANNIBAL CORPSE, jedes Fossil wird begleitet von Songs seiner Namenspatinnen und Namenspaten.

An der Bar versorgt das Team des Metalclubs DER SCHWARZE KEILER die Besucherinnen und Besucher.

Die Modern / Symphonic Metal-Band AMARANTHE veröffentlichte ihr neues Album “The Catalyst” am 23. Februar 2024 via Nuclear Blast auf CD, Vinyl sowie digital. Jetzt legen die Skandinavier einen Clip zum Song “Interference” bei YouTube nach.

Zum Release gab es außerdem ein Video zum Titeltrack bei YouTube.

Zum vierten Vorab-Track “Re-Vision” hat die Formation ebenfalls ein Musikvideo gedreht. Das Stück folgt auf “Outer Dimensions”, das es ebenfalls als Videoclip bei YouTube gibt. Zuvor veröffentlichten die Schweden den Song “Insatiable” als Musikvideo bei YouTube.

Gitarrist Olof Mörck verrät zum Album:

“Endlich ist es also offiziell! Es hat lange gedauert, und es wurde mehr Arbeit in dieses Album gesteckt als in alle vorherigen AMARANTHE-Alben. Auf ‘Damnation Flame’ habt ihr bereits einen Vorgeschmack auf das bekommen, was euch erwartet, aber da es das bisher abwechslungsreichste und vielseitigste AMARANTHE-Album ist, erwartet das Unerwartete! Wir decken auf ‘The Catalyst’ eine Menge musikalisches Terrain ab, aber der Kern dessen, was uns kreativ ausmacht, ist völlig intakt. Es wird sofort klar sein, dass ihr AMARANTHE hört, genauso wie es sofort klar sein wird, dass dies sowohl ein Sprung nach vorne als auch ein Schritt nach oben ist. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, dass ihr alle hört, was wir ausgeheckt haben, und dass ihr uns SOFORT auf der Tour mit diesen erstklassigen neuen Songs seht!”

Außerdem stellte die Gruppe Ende Juni 2023 ihren neuen Sänger/Shouter Mikael Sehlin mit einem Musikvideo zum Track “Damnation Flame” bei YouTube vor.

Gitarrist Olof Mörck kommentiert die Entscheidung für das neue Bandmitglied:

“Nach einer praktisch weltweiten Suche und mehreren fantastischen Gast-Growlern, die uns bei Shows und Tourneen aushalfen, haben wir endlich die richtige Person für den Job gefunden, in unserer eigenen schwedischen Hauptstadt Stockholm! Mikael Sehlin hat ALLES, was es braucht, um dem AMARANTHE Line-Up beizutreten, und seine Vielseitigkeit und Musikalität vervollständigt und unterstreicht unsere Vision für unser neues Album und die allgemeine Zukunft von AMARANTHE perfekt. Die Post Black Metal-Band GROZA veröffentlichte ihr neues Album “Nadir” am 20. September 2024. Die Platte erschien via AOP Records auf CD, Vinyl sowie digital und enthält sechs Tracks. Einen davon gibt es mit “Asbest” nun als Clip bei YouTube.

Auch “Deluge” ist nun als Audiostream bei YouTube verfügbar.

Darüber hinaus kann man sich “Dysthymian Dreams” seit Ende Juni 2024 als Video bei YouTube ansehen. Für den Song “Daffodils“, zu dem es ebenfalls einen Clip gibt, konnten zudem J.J. und M.S. (HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY) als Gastmusiker gewonnen werden.

Das Artwork gestaltete Johanna Kaljanac, eine erste Single soll in Kürze folgen. Zuletzt veröffentlichten GROZA das Album “The Redemptive End” (2021).

Das Naturkundemuseum Stuttgart am Löwentor wird zur Bühne für alle: Am 9. Oktober 2024 findet dort das METAL KARAOKE MASSACRE statt.

Gleichzeitig ist das auch eine der letzten Chancen die Sonderausstellung Rock Fossils zu besuchen, angeboten werden zusätzliche Highlight-Führungen durch das Museum. Die „Rock Fossils“-Ausstellung zeigt Fossilien, die Namen berühmter Rock. und Metal-Musiker tragen. Dargestellt werden die ausgestorbenen Tierarten durch Modelle und Rekonstruktionen. Natürlich darf die Musik selbst auch nicht fehlen: Von den BEATLES bis CANNIBAL CORPSE, jedes Fossil wird begleitet von Songs seiner Namenspatinnen und Namenspaten.

An der Bar versorgt das Team des Metalclubs DER SCHWARZE KEILER die Besucherinnen und Besucher.

Die Melodic Black Metal-Band MISANTHROPIA hat einen Labeldeal bei WormHoleDeath Records unterschrieben. Im Zuge haben die Niederländer aus Nijmegen ihr neues Album “Envy The Dead” veröffentlicht. Es ist das fünfte Album der Band und folgt dem 2020er-Album “Convoy of Sickness” nach. Produziert wurde das Album abermals von Mike Wead (KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE).

Release-Termin ist der 6. September 2024. Mit “River Dumplings” ist nun ein Video-Clip erschienen. Zuvor gab es mit “Fade Into The Abyss” ein Lyric-Video. Der Song zeichnet ein erschreckendes Porträt von Mary Ann Cotton, einer berüchtigten englischen Serienmörderin aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, und betont ihre Rolle als trügerische und tödliche Figur, deren Vermächtnis an Schrecken und Leid bis heute nachwirkt.
