Das 13. Album vom SOULFLY trägt den Titel „Chama“, Sänger Max Cavalera erklärt den Titel: „Chama ist das brasilianische Wort für Flamme.  Es bedeutet auch ‚Berufung‘. Grüße gehen raus an den brasilianischen Kampfsportler Alex Pereira, der unseren Song ‚Itsari‘ bei seinen Kämpfen verwendet. ‚Chama‘ ist von der Energie dieses Moments inspiriert. Dieses Album ist der Sound des Feuers von SOULFLY!“

MISTER MISERY haben eine neue Single veröffentlicht: Zu „Forsaken“ hat die Modern Metal-Band auch ein Musikvideo gedreht.

In den letzten Monaten teilten die Schweden mit „Into Oblivion„, „Ready Aim Fire“ sowie „Rest In Peace“ drei weitere Stücke. Ein neues Album hat das Quartett vorerst jedoch nicht geplant: Man möchte sich nach eigener Aussage auf individuelle Singles konzentrieren.

Die japanische Alternative / Nu Metal-Band MAN WITH A MISSION hat am 12. März 2025 eine neue EP herausgebracht. „XV EP“ erschien vorläufig nur digital, am 19. September 2025 folgen nun die CD- und Vinyl-Auflagen der Scheibe. Während die CD-Fassung mit zwei zusätzlichen Live-Mitschnitten als Bonus erscheint, enthält die Vinyl-Fassung neben der Vier-Track-EP nur vier der acht Live-Songs der Digital-Ausgabe.

Den Bonus-Track „Reaching For The Sky (Live in Japan)“ kann man jetzt als Video sehen.

Darüber hinaus gibt es auch einen Clip zu „Whispers Of The Fake“. Die Nummer folgt auf das Video zu „Vertigo“, dem Opener der EP. Als ersten Vorgeschmack teilten die Musiker im Februar den Track „Reaching For The Sky“ auf allen gängigen Streaming-Portalen.

Mit „XV E.P.“ will die Gruppe ihr 15-jähriges Bestehen feiern, sie umfasst vier neue Tracks sowie acht Live-Mitschnitte.  Die Platte erscheint via Century Media.

Im Oktober folgt dann eine Europatour mit Terminen in Berlin, Frankfurt, Köln, Hamburg, München sowie Wien (A). Im Vorprogramm sind HANDS LIKE HOUSES zu sehen. Die Wartezeit verkürzt eine brandneue Single, die nicht auf der EP vertreten ist: „Against The Kings And Gods„.

The track is a union between Eden Sierotnik’s Cool Heat project and the trio Nothing But Silence, a meeting of two forces that thrive on atmosphere but anchor it in pulse and presence. It is collaboration, not as a compromise, but as a collision — the kind where new shapes are thrown into being.

The song arrives on hushed chords and breath-lit harmonies. Guitars bloom in shoegaze gauze, then curl back into silence. Sierotnik’s meticulous sense of texture collides with Rudy de Anda’s post-punk bite, Edgar Torres’ spectral keys, and Eric Black’s unerring drumwork. Together they create a current that tugs in two directions: expansive and intimate, icy and tender. You hear the bones of dream-pop, but also the weight of Chicago basements, late nights, rooms where voices blur and every word carries too much meaning.

At its core, Cynical circles the bitter aftertaste of love gone wrong. The lyrics tilt between memory and resistance: a desire to hold onto the sweetness of the past, and the instinct to push it all away. There’s no melodrama here, just the truth of fractured communication, of days where silence feels safer than speaking.

What makes it hit is the tension: dream-heavy tones cut against sharp rhythms, softness carried on machinery. Sierotnik’s synth flourishes add color at the edges, while the band’s guitars lay down a wide, aching sky. The mix is both maximal and spare, every detail counted out with purpose, yet every phrase left to breathe. You can hear a distant kinship with the mid-2000s era when bands like Panda Bear, Deerhunter, and Grizzly Bear chased fractured memories through tape hiss and half-lit rooms. But here, the approach is distinctly raw, immediate, and anchored in the weight of place.

It’s proof of what can happen when artists collide in one place and let their voices overlap. Together, Cool Heat and Nothing But Silence sharpen each other, and in the tension, they find something worth holding onto.

Bay Area’s Still Ruins and Central Valley’s rising stars 60 Juno have joined forces on the collaborative post-punk single “Night Eyes.” A one-day creative fusion between the trio and the Merced-based project has yielded a track steeped in 80s youth culture, nocturnal mystery, and the paradox of longing beneath city lights.

Morphing icy minor-key chords, thick bass throb, and a danceable drum pulse, “Night Eyes” carries a jangle-pop guitar tone that’s darker—ghost-reverb drenched yet tender. Janosch Moldau returns with a milestone release, unveiling his 20th anniversary single “The Ground.”. An enduring musician and soul influencer, Moldau has risen from the post-pop era to become a mainstay of the European alternative scene, with his music heard on MTV, VEVO, laut.de, the iTunes/Spotify Charts, the German (DAC), and the European Alternative-Single/Club-Charts. Known for his emotionally charged live performances and worldwide touring, Moldau now commemorates two decades of artistry with a song that is both intimate and universal.

The video for “The Ground” is stark, symbolic, and deeply personal. Set against the tranquil expanse of a mountain lake, Moldau appears cloaked and solitary, seated on a chair half-submerged in the water. As the song unfolds, he sinks, resurfaces, and slowly rises again — a metaphor for collapse, endurance, and rebirth. The stillness of the natural backdrop only heightens the sense of struggle and release, underscoring the tension between beauty and despair.

Musically, the track shimmers with a rippling synth melody, carried by percussion that evokes wind rippling across water. There are artists who drift restlessly, never content to sit in the safety of a single genre. Sylvia Black is one such figure, moving like a wayward star across constellations of music, always refracting a different light. Her latest release, a reimagining of OTO’s cult 1980s single “Anyway,” feels less like a cover and more like a séance; a call across decades, summoning forgotten ghosts of coldwave Europe and giving them flesh anew.

Black’s career has always been errant, untidy in the best way: writing for others, leading lounge bands that turned punk into velvet, backing Lydia Lunch or Maya Rudolph, ghosting in the shadows of more visible names. But here she is front and centre, her taste for drama undeniable. She speaks of hearing ‘Anyway’ at a Halloween party in New Orleans, a night when the song clawed its way into her memory. That image stays with you;  a track born in the continental underground of the ‘80s, resurrected decades later in the arms of a masquerade.

Black does not enter the song timidly. She steps into its bones with composure, then layers them in a new costume: synths glazed in frost, a bassline that moves with measured inevitability, and saxophone notes that curl like smoke from an abandoned cabaret. The result is poised, decadent, a portrait of a ballroom caught between ruin and glamour. It is a faithful, if slightly unnerving, rendition.

Joseph Keckler, her co-conspirator here, adds a voice as rich as velvet, theatrical yet deliberate, circling Black’s own delivery with his trademark operatic lure. Together, their performance becomes something both ritualistic and intoxicating, as though two performers are holding court in a dim-lit theatre where the audience leans forward, uncertain if they are witnessing a mating ritual…or a demonic possession.

The production is generous with space. Instead of rushing, it allows the song to sprawl, to breathe. Within that room Black plays with texture, layering voices, sax, and synths until the track swells with a decadent melancholy that never slips into parody. It is sincere, almost devotional, an offering to the past that insists upon the present.

aux animaux has always sounded like an artist pulling at the veil between presence and absence, summoning from the ether with little more than a theremin’s cry and a bassline’s throb. On Demonizer, she shapes that invocation into something braver, barer, and bloodier: a work that feels as though it was pulled straight out of her ribcage, exorcised and held aloft for us to see.

Born in Istanbul, now operating out of Stockholm’s cold arteries, aux animaux has spent years building a catalogue steeped in politics, phantoms, and occult allegories. Yet this piece is not an allegory but a personal haunt, rooted in her own ordeal of obsession, gaslighting, and survival. It moves with the force of lived torment: her voice both invocation and indictment, charged with the tremor of release.

Demonizer thrives in collaboration, too. Dancing Plague’s presence here feels like a mirror in the dark, a second figure wrenched from the same inferno. Their duet is less dialogue than duel, a back-and-forth of possession and resistance, the kind of chemistry that burns away studio artifice. Together, they conjure a song that is at once a lament and a liberation, as well as a chorus and a curse.

The accompanying self-directed video manifests this allegory into flesh: a horned demon staggering through woods, its face bloodied, its body pierced with spikes. It is grotesque theatre, but also an image of the terror that once pursued the singer through everyday life. Watching it, one feels less like a voyeur than a witness in an improvised ritual.

This is aux animaux at her most human, paradoxically revealed through the inhuman wail of machines and monsters. The demon has been named. And the demon has been cast out.

aux animaux’s past work (Black Holes, Stockholm Synthrome, The Hydesville Episode) has stretched from polemic to horror-film fantasia, each release a new room in a spectral mansion. But with Body Horror, her 2023 debut full-length, she claimed a space where the monstrous is not just metaphor but biography. Doruk Öztürkcan’s mastering ensures the songs retain their serrated clarity, the sharpened frame around aux animaux’s voice and programming.

aux animaux continues to tour with fellow night voyagers She Past Away and Dancing Plague, carrying her work across Europe and the Americas, but here she plants a different flag. Demonizer is a howl to banish the obsession that once caged her. It is music as manifestation, horror as healing, exorcism as art. And in that exorcism, she reminds us that survival, too, can have its own strange electricity.

Sexores return from their crypt with Sangre, their seventh album…arriving not as a subtle sip, but as a full goblet…an intoxicating draft of lust, loss, and eternal night. Formed in Quito, Ecuador, in 2010 by Emilia Bahamonde and David Yépez, the band has long thrived on alchemy: analog synths colliding with reverb-drenched guitars, with traces of dream pop dissolving into the shadows. Now stationed in Mexico City, they sharpen their fangs with a record that feels like a waltz across a blood-soaked ballroom, where the chandeliers sway and the coffin lids creak to the beat.

The second single, also titled Sangre, is a synth-streaked hymn to Dracula’s doomed passion, refracted through the language of dance floors and funeral rites. The lyrics speak of pursuit and surrender, of blood as both weapon and salvation. One imagines the Count himself whispering between verses, cape spread, teeth glistening, muttering about loneliness while slipping another hapless soul into the immortal night. It’s darkwave with a smirk, reminding us that horror is equal parts theatre and tragedy.

Produced by Matia Simovich at Infinite Power Studios, with Grover Greenberg and Coleman Ketchem conjuring their own arcane touches, the single also boasts the commanding voice of Patricio Zenteno of Sea Temples. His baritone rises like a specter from the catacombs, circling Bahamonde’s delivery with a delicious menace. Doruk Öztürkcan of She Past Away adds the final seal on the coffin lid with pristine mastering, giving the track the polish of obsidian glass.

To mark Sangre’s release, they’ve unveiled a short film directed by Alexis Rios in collaboration with Miel Porena. Imagine Hammer Horror spliced with Dario Argento’s saturated palette, sprinkled with Romero’s shambling menace, and you’re halfway there. B-movie camp collides with ritual seriousness: lovers collide in torchlight, vampiric embraces crossfade into chase scenes, and every frame seems steeped in celluloid blood. It’s playful, theatrical, knowingly excessive…the kind of video that would look at home on VHS, rewound and rewatched until the tape snaps.

Fifteen years into their unholy reign, Sexores sound newly animated, as though struck by lightning at midnight. Sangre is not about nostalgia or pale imitation—it’s about leaning into the myth, the seduction, the bite. They invite us to dance with our mortality, to laugh at our reflection (or lack thereof) in the mirror, and to twirl until the dawn sets us aflame. The album, and this single, feel like a reminder: eternity isn’t meant to be endured in silence—it should be danced through, teeth bared, heart pounding, cape twirling on the floor of the damned.

From the restless underworld of New York City, Some Days Are Darker steps forward with “Devotion,” a song that treats desire as both a curse and a cathedral. Lear Mason, once a metalcore guitarist, now recasts himself as high priest of nocturnal yearning. His voice incants, each syllable smudged with hunger, each phrase soaked in a strange sacrament.

The message behind Devotion is that love is most alive when it is perilous. The words “coil” and “writhe” summon images of lovers bound together in darkness, where obsession breathes against the skin and every kiss feels like surrender to a deeper abyss. Mason’s lyrical hand sketches a romance that is never serene, always strained against its own edges. To be adored here is to be possessed. To hold is to haunt. The refrain asks for an embrace while admitting that the embrace must hurt. It is a hymn to passion’s cruelty, sung by someone addicted to its exquisite punishment.

The arrangement drapes itself in the noir tones of 80s alt romanticism, heavy with reverb and lit with the dim glow of red bulbs. Guitars prowl like figures at the back of the room, while synths lean forward as if to confess. A steady rhythm drives the song into its own fever, but never to exhaustion. Instead, it circles like a ritual repeated, one more chant, one more kiss at the altar of ruin.

Mason himself directs the accompanying video, filmed by Alina Melina. A darkened New York club becomes a theatre of devotion: faces half-lit, bodies caught between desire and disappearance. It feels like the afterimage of a late-night show that may never have happened, or one you dreamt you attended, where the performance seemed less entertainment than exorcism. The camera lingers in the half-light, watching musicians and shadows blur until the distinction between them dissolves.

In Devotion, Some Days Are Darker are wedded to the dark, and in that marriage, they find truth.

Die Black Metal-Band VÍGLJÓS hat mit „Tome II – ignis sacer“ ein neues Album angekündigt. Es ist nach „Tome I: Apidæ“ (2024) das zweite Album der Schweizer aus Basel und befasst sich mit dem Phänomen des Mutterkorns – der freiwilligen oder unfreiwilligen Vergiftung durch den Verzehr des Pilzes Claviceps, der auf Weizen wächst. Dieses uralte Leiden, das in der Vergangenheit zu zivilen Unruhen, Hexenwahn und gesellschaftlichen Zusammenbrüchen führte, wenn das Klima sein Wachstum auf essentiellen Nahrungsquellen begünstigte, ist eine zentrale Inspiration.

„Auf dieser neuen Platte wollen wir den Einfluss würdigen, den Claviceps (und später LSD) und Drogen im Allgemeinen auf Kunst, Musik, Gesellschaft, unser Selbstverständnis und die Medizin hatten und immer noch haben, sowie den Terror und die Verderbtheit, die sie über uns gebracht haben“, erklärt die Band.

„Tome II – ignis sacer“ wurde von Marc Obrist (ZEAL & ARDOR) bei Hutch Sounds produziert und mit einem Cover-Artwork von Adrian Smith ausgestattet. Release-Termin ist der 19. September 2025 via Les Acteurs de L’Ombre Productions.

Die Tatsache, dass ich einen echten Chor in einer Kirche aufgenommen habe, hat dabei sehr geholfen, aber vor allem wurde sehr lange und akribisch an dem Sound und der Auswahl der Instrumente gearbeitet und tiefgreifende experimentelle Forschung betrieben, um ein einzigartiges Sounddesign zu schaffen.

Da es sich um ein IGORRR-Album handelt, gibt es natürlich auch ein paar farbenfrohe Tracks, wie ‚Blastbeat Falafel‘, ‚ADHD‘ usw… Sie stehen in starkem Kontrast zu der Ambient-Schwere. Ich brauche solche Tracks auf einem Album, sie helfen mir, es wirklich konzentriert durchzuhören, wie ein Schuss Limoncello vor der nächsten Mahlzeit.“

Nun gibt es einen weiteren Videoclip, neu im Netz ist der Track „Headbutt“: 

Einen ersten Höreindruck verschaffte die Single „ADHD“ mitsamt Clip bei YouTube; im Mai folgt mittels „Blastbeat Falafel“ eine weitere Auskopplung.

Im Oktober stellen IGORRR das neue Werk dann auf einer Headline-Tour vor:IGORRR, MASTER BOOT RECORD, IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT – Tourdaten 2025 bei vampster.

Die Sludge / Post Metal-Band ABRAHAM veröffentlicht am 26. September 2025 ein neues Album. „Idsungwüssä“ enthält acht Tracks, einer davon ist als Clip verfügbar: „I Am The Vessel And The Vessel Is Me„.

Auch ein Lyric-Video zum Album ist vorab abrufbar: „Suurwäut“ bei YouTube. Eine weitere Video-Single steht in Form von „Naked In A Naked Sky“ bei YouTube bereit.

Erscheinen wird das fünfte Studioalbum via Pelagic Records und knüpft an das Konzept der beiden Vorgängerplatten an, wie die Gruppe verrät:

„Die drei Alben sind thematisch eindeutig miteinander verbunden, obwohl ‚idsungwüssä‘ eher eine Parallelerzählung zu ‚Débris de mondes perdus‘ ist als ein zusätzliches Kapitel. Letzteres war ein Zeitsprung nach ‚Look, Here Comes the Dark!‘, während ‚idsungwüssä‘ ein Sprung in den Raum ist, eine Reise weg von der Erde. Die Alternative / Progressive Metal-Band FLIGHT CNCLLD hat für 17. Oktober 2025 ihr Debütalbum „Safety Wire“ angekündigt. Erscheinen wird die Platte digital sowie auf Vinyl. Neben der regulären Fassung der Platte wird es auch eine sogenannte „Cloud Version“ geben, die alle Songs in alternativen Versionen enthält.

SCHATTENMAN arbeiten künftig mit Perception zusammen – die Band feiert den Vertrag mit dem neuen Label auch musikalisch: „Kein Kommando“ ist der Titel der brandneuen Single, die auch den Startschuss in eine neue Ära bedeuten soll, wie Sänger Frank Herzig erklärt:

„‚Kein Kommando‘ ist für uns – seit unserer allerersten Single – wohl der wichtigste Song in der Bandgeschichte. Er markiert den Beginn einer neuen Ära – den Wandel hin zu einer klaren Metal-Ausrichtung. Am 3. Oktober 2025 veröffentlicht die MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP das neue Album „Don’t Sell Your Soul“.

Nun hat der Gitarrist auch den Track „I Can’t Stand Waiting“ als Stream veröffentlicht.

„Don’t Sell Your Soul“ ist der zweite Teil einer Albumtrilogie, die 2024 mit „My Years With UFO“ begann. Produziert wurde das Album von Michael Schenker und Michael Voss, aufgenommen mit Schenkers langjährigen Weggefährten: Bodo Schopf (Schlagzeug), Barend Courbois (Bass) und Steve Mann (Gitarre, Keyboards) sowie Erik Grönwall (Gesang).

Am 31. Oktober 2025 erscheint “Cycle of the Dying Sun (Dawn of Ashen Realms)”, das neue Album von RUNEMAGICK. EIn Lyric-Video zu „Wyrd Unwoven“ verkürzt die Wartezeit bis zum Release.

Komponiert und eingespielt hat das Album Nicklas Rudolfsson im Alleingang, die erste Songle „Old Bones“ kündigt er so an:

„Old Bones“ ist der erste Einblick in „Cycle of the Dying Sun (Dawn of Ashen Realms)“, ein Song, der den Weg der Namenlosen beschreitet, wo Echos der Vergangenheit unter Asche nachhallen. Als zweiter Track des Albums dringt er tief in das ein, was vor uns liegt: eine Reise durch erlöschende Glut. Der Zyklus hat begonnen, und die Knochen sprechen noch immer.“

„Die or grow“ war das Motto des Vorgängers „Darkbloom“ (2022): Wir müssen weitermachen und an unseren Herausforderungen wachsen. „All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed“ setzt diese Philosophie fort, indem uns das Album auffordert, das zu schätzen, was wir haben. In blumiger Weise verpacken WE CAME AS ROMANS dabei eine eigentlich altbekannte Weisheit: jeden Tag so zu leben, als sei es der letzte – erst recht, weil alles vergänglich ist.

Dabei startet die Platte mit dem Instrumental-Intro „All Is Beautiful…“ noch vergleichsweise unbarmherzig. Ein donnerndes Schlagzeug und tief gestimmte Gitarren verheißen nichts Gutes, sogar einen kleinen Querverweis in Richtung GOJIRA glauben wir auszumachen, bevor „Bad Luck“ mit seinem gefilterten Chor umgehend die Kehrtwende einschlägt. Ähnlich eingängig und catchy ist ein großer Teil des Albums angelegt, was WE CAME AS ROMANS oftmals jenseits der Grenzen des modernen Metalcore führt.

WE CAME AS ROMANS vertrauen aktuellen Genre-Trends, vergessen aber die eigene Note
Viele Alternative-Sounds und poppige Melodiebögen prägen „All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed“, was konsequenterweise an „Darkbloom“ (2022) anknüpft und durchaus kompetent arrangiert ist. Airplay im Metal-Radio dürfte Tracks wie „One by One“, „Circling A Dying Sun“ oder dem genannten Opener sicher sein. Das andere Extrem wiederum bedienen die US-Amerikaner mit den üblichen Downtuned-Groovern: „Red Smoke“ sowie „b2tm“ setzen auf Synthesizer für den Spannungsaufbau, um dann mittels Chugging und gepresster Shouts den Vorschlaghammer zu schwingen. Hin und wieder nutzt ein Stück wie „No Rest For The Dreamer“ ähnliche Stilmittel, welche WE CAME AS ROMANS dann mittels eines melodischeren Refrains anreichern.

Umgesetzt ist das durchaus solide, die Formation verfehlt aber zugleich, den Stücken eine eigene Note zu verpassen. Ähnlich gelagerte Tracks hat mittlerweile jede zeitgenössische Genre-Band im Repertoire, weil es natürlich funktioniert. Warum man jedoch nun WE CAME AS ROMANS etwa den Vorzug vor FIT FOR A KING geben sollte, vermögen wir anhand des Materials nicht zu sagen.

„All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed“ ist solide gemacht, aber zu glattgebügelt, um nachhaltig zu begeistern
Dazu folgen „Lake Of Fire“ oder „Culture Wound“ zu sehr dem üblichen Baukastenschema, während die Alt-Pop-Sounds von „Where Did You Go?“ zwar ungemein gut ins Ohr gehen, aber davon abgesehen jegliche Finesse vermissen lassen. In gewisser Weise kopiert „All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed“ akribisch all jene Trends, die derzeit im erweiterten Metalcore-Kosmos kursieren.

Das machen WE CAME AS ROMANS ordentlich, agieren jedoch ausschließlich innerhalb ihres begrenzten Horizonts sowie kompakter Songstrukturen, um eine Klientel ohne Aufmerksamkeitsspanne zu bedienen. Die Krux: Gut gemachte Stangenware hat durchaus seine Daseinsberechtigung, führt das titelgebende Motto allerdings ad absurdum. Warum sollen wir uns mit einem gestriegelten Produkt für den Massenmarkt zufriedengeben, wenn doch die Sonne für uns möglicherweise heute Abend schon zum letzten Mal hinter dem Horizont verschwindet?

Es rumpelt bei CRADLE OF FILTH: Keyboarderin und Background-Sängerin Zoë Marie Federoff hatte am 25. August 2025 bekannt gegeben, dass sie die Band verlässt, nun ist auch ihr Ehemann, Gitarrist Marek „Ashok“ Šmerda raus. Derzeit tourt der Rest der Band in Südamerika, die unmittelbar anstehenden Konzerte werden wohl mit einem Gitarristen bestritten, an den Keyboards springt Kelsey Peters ein.

Das Drama in Kurzform: Zoë Marie Federoff verkündete ihren Ausstieg, kurz darauf gab auch Marek „Ashok“ Šmerda bekannt, dass er die Band nach Beendigung der Tour verlassen werde. Als Gründe nannte er unter anderem die schlechte Bezahlung, zu viel Stress und ein schlechtes Bandklima. Weiter führt er aus: „Ich habe auch darum gebeten, dass meine Kompositionen von den kommenden Veröffentlichungen entfernt werden — inklusive der Kooperation mit Ed Sheeran. Dieser Song ist in meinen Augen ohnehin eine närrische Clown-Posse. Zuerst sollte es eine Benefiz-Single für Kinder sein, dann eine normale Single, nun soll der Track auf das nächste Album. Und jetzt: Wer weiß das schon? Ich will daran einfach nicht mehr beteiligt sein. Kein Disrespect gegenüber Ed Sheeran.“

In einem weiteren Posting (siehe unten) veröffentlichte das Paar dann einen neuen Vertrag, der ihnen vom CRADLE OF FILTH-Management vorgelegt wurde und erwähnten, dass Federoff schwanger war, das Baby aufgrund des Tourstresses aber verloren habe.

Dani Filth reagierte, indem er Šmerda kurzerhand aus der Band warf, auf die vielen Vorwürfe geht er nicht ein. Auf Facebook schreibt er:

Mit schwerem Herzen gibt CRADLE OF FILTH bekannt, dass Gitarrist Marek „Ashok” Smerda mit sofortiger Wirkung entlassen wurde.
Trotz aller Versuche, die Band  zu diffamieren und zu sabotieren, werden Cradle Of Filth KEINE  Südamerika-Show absagen. Fans müssen aber damit rechnen, dass wir live nur mit einem Gitarristen auftreten – zumindest bis Ashoks vorübergehender Ersatz in wenigen Tagen hier ist, um sich der Tour anzuschließen.
Wir danken euch für euer Verständnis in dieser schrecklichen Angelegenheit. Wir alle stehen unter Schock über die Geschehnisse und werden zu gegebener Zeit unsere Sicht der Ergnisse schildern. Bitte respektiert unsere Entscheidung, uns jetzt von Ashok zu trennen und nicht erst am Ende der Tour, und spekuliert nicht, wir werden bald Klarheit schaffen.
Dem Rest der Band geht es gut, sie sind allerdings sehr überrascht. Die Anschuldigungen gegenüber dem Management, das sehr eng mit mir und der Band zusammenarbeitet, sind völlig ungerechtfertigt und unbegründet.  Geduld ist eine Tugend, und die Wahrheit kommt immer ans Licht.

Update 30. August 2025: Dani Filth reagiert mit einem Statement
Inzwischen hat sich CRADLE OF FILTH-Sänger Dani Filth mit einem sehr langen Statement zu Wort gemeldet und schilder seine Sicht der Dinge. Auf Instagram schreibt er unter anderem, dass der Vertrag sei lediglich ein Entwurf und Bandmitgliedern sei freigestellt, auch in anderen Projekten mitzuarbeiten. „Ich habe selbst gesehen, wie es zu hitzigen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Zoe und Ashok gekommen ist, die verbaler und körperlicher Gewalt führen“, berichtet Filth.  Über Zoë Marie Federoff Schwangerschaft habe niemand in der Band Bescheid gewusst, gleichzeitig stellt er die Frage, warum sie schwanger Alkohol getrunken habe. Generell beschreibt Filth den übermäßigen Alkoholkonsum von Zoë Marie Federoff  und Marek „Ashok“ Šmerda als höchst problematisch. Die Ehe- und andere Probleme von Zoë Marie Federoff und Marek „Ashok“ Šmerda sehe er nicht als seine Aufgabe an, seine Aufgabe sei es, die Tour, die mit 200.000 $ zu Buche schlägt, am Laufen zu halten.
