Das mysteriöse österreichische Projekt FLAMONGO aus Wien wurde erstmals 2021 durch die Platte „Sun Dreams“ bei HauRuck! einer „größeren“ Hörerschaft bekannt, wodurch auch ich dem höchst atmosphärisch-psychedelischen Noise-Ambient des Wieners verfallen bin. Ansonsten besteht die weitere Diskografie von FLAMONGO aus obskuren Kleinstveröffentlichungen in speziellen Verpackungen und extrem geringer Auflagezahl. „Symphony Of The Blessing“ aus dem letzten Jahr fällt genau in diese Kategorie, denn das Tape ist auf nur 30 Exemplare limitiert und steckt (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes) in einem Kondom. Hat man die Kassette dann aus ihrer „feuchten“ Verpackung befreit bzw. gesäubert und diese läuft, erfährt man eine wahrliche Sinfonie des Terrors! Diese beginnt mit freundlichen Begrüßungsapplaus, der in sanfte Easy Listening Musik übergeht und diese durch quälend lange 20 Minuten von weinenden und schreienden Babys dominiert wird. Die B-Seite bietet das Ganze dann gleich noch mal und das ist wirklich das härsteste und krasseste, was ich in den letzten Jahren gehört habe! Dagegen sind Harsh Noise oder Power Electronics ala WHITEHOUSE ein regelrechte Wohltat und „Symphony Of The Blessings“ eine absolute Grenzerfahrung! Das Konzept der Kassette erinnert mich von der Konzeption und Herangehensweise an VAGINA DENTATA ORGAN, deren Tonträger ebenso meist mehr Kunst und Dokument, als Musik war. Wer also ganz starke Nerven und Eier aus Stahl hat, wie den Freuden der Segnung aufgeschlossen ist, kann noch bei Bandcamp die letzten Exemplare dieses „Kunstwerkes“ erwerben. Allen anderen möchte ich nochmals die Eingangs erwähnte „Sun Dreams“ LP empfehlen, welche sich wirklich lohnt und richtig hörbar ist. (Marco Fiebag)

„Through Zero“ ist der Titel des neuen Studioalbums aus dem Hause ELDER. Die Psychedelic Rock-Band veröffentlicht ihre nächste Platte am 29. Mai 2026 via Stickman Records. Eingespielt hat das Quartett die sechs neuen Songs in den Berliner Big Snuff Studios – die Produktion erfolgte in Eigenregie, den Mix übernahm man gemeinsam mit RIchard Behrens. Für das Mastering schließlich zeichnet Carl Saff verantwortlich. Die erste Hörprobe soll bald folgen.

Den Albumtitel erklärt Gitarrist und Sänger Nick DiSalvo:

„‚Through Zero‘ ist ein Begriff aus dem Ingenieurwesen und der Musik. Er beschreibt die Eigenschaft einer Frequenz, den Nullpunkt zu durchlaufen und in den negativen Bereich weiterzugehen. Auch wenn das kein philosophisches Konzept ist, hat es für mich eine konzeptionelle Bedeutung: Der Nullpunkt ist kein Ende, sondern ein Mittelpunkt auf einem teilweise unsichtbaren Weg. Die Interpretation bleibt offen – vielleicht ist der Weg das Ziel, vielleicht sind Anfang und Ende willkürliche Markierungen, oder die Realität ist schlicht weniger linear, als wir annehmen.

Die Songs des Albums greifen verwandte Themen auf, die meine eigenen Beobachtungen und meine persönliche Philosophie widerspiegeln. Leben und Tod, Frustration und Angst, Ohnmacht und Hoffnung – all das existiert entlang desselben ‚Signalwegs‘.“

North Carolinas sympathischste Heavy Metal-Band ist zurück! Drei Jahre nach “Show/Down”, meinem Album des Jahres 2023 beglücken MEGA COLOSSUS uns mit einem neuen Album, welches pünktlich am Ende der ersten Woche ihrer Europatour erscheint. Album und Tour werden leider auch der Abschied für Drummer und Obersympathen Doza sein, der die Band nach sechzehn Jahren verlässt, um seinen Traumjob anzutreten. Er wird menschlich und musikalisch eine große Lücke hinterlassen. Natürlich war ich als MEGA COLOSSUS-Ultra heiß wie Frittenfett auf das neue Album und habe mich wie ein Geier auf die Promo gestürzt. Würden die Jungs es schaffen, dem nahezu perfekten “Show/Down” einen würdigen Nachfolger zur Seite zu stellen? Nachdem ich in den letzten Wochen und speziell den letzten Tagen wirklich obsessiv “Watch Out!” gehört habe, kann ich sagen: Ja, ja, verdammt nochmal ja! Schon wieder Album des Jahres? Ist doch gerade mal Anfang März, sagt ihr? Egal, für mich kann das Jahr zu, besser wird es nicht mehr.

Zum Einstieg in “Watch Out!” ziehen uns MEGA COLOSSUS direkt mal die Frisur gerade
Der Opener “The Bad Thing” schleicht sich erstmal vorsichtig an uns heran. Ja, was ist denn das? Dieser schleppende Beginn baut sehr schön Spannung auf, bevor der Song uns dann nach anderthalb Minuten förmlich ins Gesicht explodiert. Vollgas! Bill Fischer und Chris Millard jagen uns die Gitarrenläufe um die Ohren während Doza allen mit Anlauf in den Arsch tritt. Ein wilder, thrashiger Banger und perfekte Eröffnung! Aber MEGA COLOSSUS geben keine Ruhe. Das als erste Single ausgekoppelte “Battlefront” macht rasant weiter. Etwas melodischer, dafür mit sehr coolen Gangshouts im Refrain. MEGA COLOSSUS halten sich wirklich nicht zurück und feuern aus allen Rohren, alles was man an dieser Band liebt, die völlig irrwitzigen Twin-Guitars, die großartigen, melodischen Gesangslinien, der liebenswerte Humor – all das findet man schon in den ersten zwei Songs zu Hauf.

Und MEGA COLOSSUS haben gerade erst angefangen. Und machen einfach weiter…  Mit “Tag In Your Friend” folgt die nächste High Speed-Abfahrt, wobei die Jungs hier zwischendurch geschickt das Tempo verschleppen, sei es durch ein schweres Riff oder ein super melodisches Solo. Und Doza trommelt sich gefühlt völlig tiefenentspannt durch diese rasanten Songs, spielt dabei zwar songdienlich, zeigt aber mit diversen starken fills seine große Klasse. Man merkt, dass der Mann Ultra-Runner ist. Für solchen shit braucht man Ausdauer!

Man muss ja auch mal durchatmen – nach drei Bangern am Stück gönnen uns MEGA COLOSSUS eine Verschnaufpause
Nach diesen drei Attacken liegen wir eigentlich schon windelweich gekloppt und gleichzeitig vor Freude debil grinsend am Boden. MEGA COLOSSUS haben die drei “kürzesten” – wir reden hier immer noch von Songs zwischen 04:20 und 05:40 – Stücke an den Anfang gepackt, jetzt geht’s ans Eingemachte. “Good Hunting” beginnt als melodischer Up Tempo-Galopper. Wer bei den vielen Gitarrenharmonien an IRON MAIDEN denkt, liegt sicher nicht falsch. Nach einem ruhigen Mittelteil wird es im letzten Drittel deutlich rifflastiger bevor der Song wieder super melodisch ausklingt. Gott, diese kompromisslos positive Attitüde kriegt auch keine andere Band so hin, ohne in den Kitsch abzudriften.

Wie viel gute Laune kann man in eine Heavy Metal-Album packen? MEGA COLOSSUS: JA!
“The Halls Of Mystikos” war die zweite Single und mein erster Gedanke war “Hm, Sean klingt hier irgendwie total anders”. Tja, lag daran, dass Anthony hier den Leadgesang übernimmt. Und verdammte Axt, da haben die Jungs echt noch ein Ass im Ärmel. Absolut großartig, was Anthony hier abliefert. Gerne mehr davon! Der Song startet verträumt – laut Band von URIAH HEEP inspiriert – schlägt aber ganz schnell in einen weiteren Up Tempo-Banger um. Eine echte Party-Hymne mit grandiosem Mitsing-Refrain. Das wird live auf jeden Fall der Knaller – wehe ihr bringt den nicht! “Here Lies You” erinnert mich mit seinen leicht folkigen Gitarren zum Beginn an LED ZEPPELIN, auch im weiteren Verlauf sind MEGA COLOSSUS hier eher Classic Rock als Heavy Metal – eine schöne Abwechslung. Und dann kommt da dieser Mittelteil mit den völlig genialen, verträumten Gesangs- und Gitarrenharmonien. Völlig anders als alles, was ich bisher von der Band gehört habe, aber einfach nur wunderschön.

MEGA COLOSSUS überezugen auf “Watch Out!” auch mit leisen Tönen (nachdem sie dir musikalisch einen Scheitel gezogen haben)
Joa, und dann sind wir auch schon beim letzten – und längsten – Song des Albums. Achteinhalb Minuten lassen sich MEGA COLOSSUS auf “Bloodless” Zeit. Unnützes Nerd-Wissen: Damit ist “Bloodless” der zweitlängste Song der Band nach “Willow” vom Debütalbum „…and the Rift of the Pan-Dimensional Undergods“. Aber ich schweife ab… Bei “Bloodless” handelt es sich um einen Mid Tempo Stampfer mit, für MEGA COLOSSUS-Verhältnisse, fast schon ein wenig düsterer Grundstimmung. Interessanterweise passiert in dem Song vordergründig gar nicht so viel. Es geht größtenteils im selben Tempo durch das Stück, keine wilden Eskapaden, dafür einige sehr schöne, melodische Soli und lange Instrumental-Passagen. Sean hat hier etwas von einem Geschichtenerzähler. Das mag jetzt etwas unspektakulär klingen, letztendlich steht “Bloodless” den anderen Songs auf “Watch Out!” aber in nichts nach und setzt einen schönen Schlusspunkt unter das fünfte Album von MEGA COLOSSUS.

Wer MEGA COLOSSUS nicht mag, erschießt auch Katzenbabys!
Jetzt hab ich mich schriftlich an jedem einzelnen Song auf “Watch Out!” abgearbeitet und jedes dieser Juwelen hat es auch verdient, erwähnt zu werden. MEGA COLOSSUS haben hier wieder ein verdammtes Meisterwerk geschaffen. Super melodisch, nie kitschig, immer durch und durch positiv und Gute Laune verbreitend. Zu den flotte Bangern möchte man einfach nur ausrasten und die Bude zerlegen, an anderer Stelle ist man ob der wunderschönen Harmonien zu Tränen gerührt. Ich habe es schon in meiner Rezension zu “Show/Down” geschrieben: Besser kann man diese Art von Heavy Metal nicht spielen.

Ich hatte in der Zeit vor dem Release, in der ich “Watch Out!” wirklich intensiv gehört habe, ein paar schwierige Tage, aber dieses Album hat meine Laune jedes Mal gehoben, mir immer wieder ein Grinsen ins Gesicht gezaubert, den Glauben daran gegeben, dass schon alles irgendwie gut wird. Alleine dafür kann ich dieser Band nicht genug danken! Dass die Band sich auf ihren socials auch klar gegen die ICE-Gestapo ausgesprochen hat, überraschte mich natürlich nicht, macht die Band aber nur noch sympathischer. Mehr Bands wie MEGA COLOSSUS und die Welt wäre definitiv ein besserer Ort. Musikalisch und menschlich! Wie oben schon geschrieben: Ich kann einfach nicht anders und lege mich fest: Album des Jahres! Da kommt dieses Jahr keiner mehr drüber! Danke, dass es euch gibt, Jungs! Und jetzt geht raus und supported diese Band auf ihrer Tour!

Am Anfang war das Riff. Jedenfalls ist das die Philosophie, die Josh Middleton und damit SYLOSIS seit jeher prägt. Das änderte sich weder mit der modernen Ausrichtung des Vorgängers „A Sign Of Things To Come“ (2023) noch mit dem Nachfolgewerk „The New Flesh“, dessen Artwork eher zeitgenössischen Keyboard-Overkill suggeriert.

Davon bleiben wir im Laufe der rund 48 Minuten glücklicherweise verschont: Klartext spricht immerhin schon der Auftakt „Beneath The Surface“, welcher in der Schnittmenge von Death und Thrash Metal das Tempo anzieht. Die zuletzt hinzugewonnenen Einflüsse sind indes keineswegs verschwunden: Klargesang spielt in überlegten Dosen weiterhin eine Rolle, wie beispielsweise „Erased“ im Refrain früh darlegt und welcher später in der kontroversen, doch annehmbaren Powerballade „Everywhere At Once“ seine Vollendung findet.

Musikalisch wie stimmlich haben SYLOSIS an Variabilität hinzugewonnen
Dass sich SYLOSIS in Letzterem zurückgenommen und verletzlich präsentieren, mag im krassen Gegensatz zum restlichen Material stehen, ist dramaturgisch vor dem furiosen Finale jedoch klug platziert. Auch stimmlich zeigt sich Middleton hier gereift und souveräner als noch auf „A Sign Of Things To Come“ (2023). Die hinzugewonnene Variabilität schenkt dem Bandkopf weitere Werkzeuge, derer er sich vor allem im synth-gestützten „Adorn My Throne“ bedient.

Immer wieder wollen die Briten allerdings einfach mit dem Kopf durch die Wand: Das ungezügelte „All Glory, No Valour“ und – in Teilen – „Spared From The Guillotine“ setzen auf Thrash-Furor, der SYLOSIS am Maximum ihrer Intensität zeigt. Groove steht derweil im Titeltrack sowie bei „Mirror Mirror“ im Vordergrund, wo dezente Synth-Spuren und Chugs ein Spiegelbild der jüngeren Schaffensperiode zeichnen. Den klar gesungenen Refrain von „Lacerations“ wiederum unterlegen klassische Melodeath-Leads.

Der Biss ist zurück, auch wenn „The New Flesh“ Luft nach oben hat
Ist das Grundniveau auf „The New Flesh“ hoch und vor allem konstant, fehlt es der Platte letztlich an erinnerungswürdigen Momenten: Gefällige Hooks und solide Riff-Arbeit sind trotz Ali Richardsons (BLEED FROM WITHIN) zielgerichtetem Drumming zu wenig, um uns über längere Zeit zu fesseln. SYLOSIS sind dennoch auf dem richtigen Weg: Der Biss ist jedenfalls phasenweise wieder zurück und bestärkt uns in der Gewissheit, dass die Band noch einiges zu geben hat, solange Mastermind Josh Middleton seinem eigenen Grundsatz treu bleibt. Denn wo am Anfang das Riff steht, kann das Ende ja eigentlich nur gut sein.

Die Blackened Melodic Death Metal-Band VOLCANDRA hat mit „Beyond the Will of Mortals“ ein neues Album angekündigt. Es ist nach „Into the Azure“ (2020) und „The Way of Ancients“ (2024) das dritte Album der US-Amerikaner aus Kentucky und stelle ein Konzeptalbum dar, das sich mit Themen wie Korruption, Erlösung, Verlust, Rache und Wiedergutmachung befasst, eingebettet in eine originelle High-Fantasy-Geschichte.

„Prophecies Of Eternal Horror“ wird am 27. März 2026 via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions erscheinen. Vorab gibt es den Track „At Paranoia’s Poison Door“ zu hören.

„Der Song wird als düsterer Doom-Kampfruf gegen eine übergriffige Regierung beschrieben, die uns zu sehr einschüchtern will, um selbstständig zu denken oder zu handeln. Der Refrain „crawl to your masters” (kriech zu deinen Herren) spricht das Thema des Songs an, nämlich die Fähigkeit der Regierung, Bürger zu unterwürfigen Speichelleckern zu indoktrinieren“, heißt es vom Label.

The outer reality is forming

The primeval void to fill

The muse to rule the celestial sphere 

In the oldest hush of Greek imagining, before Olympus learned its own name, Nyx moved across the void as mother and measure of all that would follow. From her body came Sleep and Death, Nemesis and Strife; from her darkness, the tremor of beginnings. Even Zeus kept his distance. To invoke her is to speak of origins that are neither gentle nor cruel, but immense.

Athens gothic and post-punk act Reflection Black further immerse listeners into their dark world with their ode to Nyx of their new single and music video Wonders of Night. Originating from the urban landscapes of Athens, Greece, the group draws a long breath from that ancient well of their ancestors and exhales it into amplifiers and drum machines. Synths gather like weather along the horizon, guitars cut deliberate figures through the air, and melodic vocal hooks rise with a solemn clarity that suggests invocation rather than performance.

The band draws from The Sisters of Mercy, The Damned, and The Mission, but also brings to mind the modern vibes of She Past Away, Drab Majesty, and Twin Tribes…and, true to Alex’s metal past, elements of early Metallica can also be heard at intervals, especially in the thundering vocals. Yet what takes hold here is less citation than consecration. The guitar-driven textures move with purpose, steady and tensile, while the rhythm section keeps a disciplined march beneath an atmosphere thick with occult intent.

Alex offers insight into the song’s theme: “Nyx…according to Orphic Theogony, is a primordial force from which the universe has spawned. She is considered the mother of several divine beings, but also breeds a number of primordial negative forces like Thanatos, Nemesis and Eris.” In that lineage, the song finds its gravity. It carries the sense of standing before something older than doctrine, older than daylight.

Wonders of Night is the last of the series of singles from the band’s upcoming full-length album, Burning Obsidian Star, set for release through Swiss Dark Nights on March 20th 2026. The animated lyric video by Costin Chioreanu lends the hymn a visual rite, each frame bending toward the same ancient mother whose night still covers the earth.

Professor Henry Higgins claimed “hurricanes hardly ever happened” in that corner of England, but clearly Hertfordshire didn’t get the memo. With their new single Come Home, Legends of the Seven Golden Vampires stir up a storm of passion strong enough to shake the consonants right out of Eliza Doolittle herself.

Comprising Ilse Van Der Linden on vocals, Nick Foster on guitar and bass, and Luke Barratt on keyboards and programming, Legends of the Seven Golden Vampires are three conspirators coaxing squalls from sequencers and six-strings, turning tidy diction into thunder.

Come Home, their new “cathedral pop” dispatch from the forthcoming The Pumphouse of Broken Dreams, rolls in on a rhythm that jitters with intent. Barratt’s synths spread in luminous sheets while Foster’s guitar slashes and spirals, pouring psychedelic colour across the track with the kind of unbridled charge that suggests Grace Slick, Stevie Nicks, and Jimi Hendrix crashed the same bill and decided rehearsal was optional. Beneath it all hum those unmistakable mid-’80s alternative contours: big-sky chords and romantic voltage, yet LOTSGV tweak and torque the formula, tightening bolts where others might simply bask in retro glow.

At the centre stands Van Der Linden, her voice carrying both yearning and knowing in equal measure. She stretches the chorus into something magnetic,  issuing a decree and proclaiming what’s in store.

There’s history under the hood with this number. “The song is a recycled track from a previous project, which I believe never really lived up to its potential,” explains chief songwriter Nick Foster, “but now we’ve added the new vocal from Ilse (Van Der Linden), it’s really come to life and sounds how it was meant to all along.” You can hear that resurrection in the way the track strides forward, confident and newly charged.

After a warmly received debut LP in 2024, Legends of the Seven Golden Vampires signal with Come Home that the next chapter aims higher and hits harder. So much for hurricanes hardly ever happening. In Hertfordshire, the forecast now calls for thunder.

‘Twas the night ’fore tomorrow, world leaders convened,

Each vying for patents on powers unseen.

With treaties half-written and handshakes half-shook,

They plotted dominion over resources untook. 

Anomaly Report have been at this since 1982, which means they’ve outlasted hairstyles, hard drives, and several apocalypses that were supposed to arrive by now. Forged in the basements and backrooms of Chicago’s hardcore fringe, they’ve grown into a many-headed creature with a taste for bass, brass, and bad news. They call it “brutalist neo-Soviet insomnia rock.” We hear music for people who read the headlines – and then bite the paper.

The bass leads the charge now, horns barging in like bureaucrats with brass knuckles. There’s a whiff of late-’80s experimental noise rock in the feral howls, and the dry-eyed sneer of contemporary post-punk agitators: Viagra Boys and IDLES come to mind. Somewhere in the scaffolding, you also catch echoes of The Wolfgang Press, Crime and the City Solution, and Foetus, those elegant merchants of unease who always knew how to make ugliness feel oddly refined.

Beautiful Terrible Things, their fifth full-length since 2020, stomps in with a barnyard panic. There’s a Snake in the Barn turns rural paranoia into a revival meeting gone rabid. Pitchforks flash, prayer circles spin, there’s a moo here and there – and then somebody suggests arson. The joke curdles fast. Fear spreads quicker than facts, and by the end, you’re eyeing your own hayloft. Wicked slinks through betrayal with a grin that shows too many teeth. Seduction curdles into self-recognition. By sunrise, corruption feels contagious. It’s a mean little mirror, and it laughs when you look. After this we hear a spoken word interlude in Dædalus’ Folly, musing about the modern ways we’re moving too close to the sun with our own creations: the machines.

Then comes Hey, Satan!: a stompy, lurching track that serves as part vaudeville routine, part therapy session. The devil shows up in nice shoes. The singer chats him up like an old drinking buddy, only to realize the real rascal is self-sabotage in a slick jacket. It’s funny; it’s uncomfortable, it’s the kind of song that winks while picking your pocket. Prick is two minutes of glorious self-indictment with a killer horn section. Immaturity is paraded proudly, admitting manipulation with a shrug. Beneath the bluster sits a plea: tell me I’m wrong.  I Kissed the Devil stretches out with a sinister piano bassline, swaying between temptation and recoil. Regret hangs in the air like cheap cologne. Somebody pours another glass at the edge of the world – and you can feel the bruise forming before the punch lands.

Side two spirals inward and outward at once. I Ain’t Over It (Beautiful Terrible Mix) loops regret in this remix from their previous album. My Anxiety stalks the bedroom at 3 a.m., alarm bells ringing in an empty house as it channels Tom Waits. Identity feels ill-fitting; the mind runs marathons with no finish line. The title track, Beautiful Terrible Things, widens the lens: tenderness and destruction share a zip code; underestimation becomes fuel. It’s a thesis disguised as a threat.

The Night Before Tomorrow might be the record’s bleakest laugh: leaders toast progress. Scientists scheme. Investors sing. One lone voice mutters, “We’re making a terrible mistake.” Nobody listens. Of course they don’t.

And then, a crooked grin at the curtain call: Here’s to Forgetting staggers in like a tipsy cabaret number. “Here’s To Forgetting was the first track we wrote for the LP,” says Durak Polezny. “It was a response to some personal tragedies we’d experienced recently, but where God Laughs addressed those same events with anger, Here’s to Forgetting uses humour to laugh through the pain.”

Beautiful Terrible Things by Anomaly Report

“Beautiful Terrible Things is about more than that,” Polezny continues. “It’s about everything going on around us in the world right now – the rush to incorporate artificial intelligence into our lives, the rampant violence, and increasing stupidity – and it’s about how we, as artists, respond to it.”

They respond with noise, nerve, and a raised glass. Play it loud. Play it twice.

We're happy to announce the cooperation with the german band DEAD BEES IN BOURBON for their debut album to be released in autumn this year.

On March 28, 2025, RobSoul will release their first single "Feuertanz" (Fire Dance).

The singer and composer Robert Eberl continues his musical journey after having to give up his band "Soulimage" in the fall of 2023 with a heavy heart. After a creative break of just three months, Rob was blessed by the muse again and began to write rock songs with German lyrics. The result is a musical mix of various rock genres with fat and driving guitars, provided by guitarist Alex Ahle. Alex has been with RobSoul since the beginning of 2025 and has further arranged Rob's compositions and, with his musicality, ensured the typical character of RobSoul.

The music is at home in German-language rock / metal and the single track "Feuertanz" with its catchy chorus immediately goes straight into one’s ears and quickly gets stuck in one’s head.

With “Feuertanz” the way has been paved for a new musical project by Robert Eberl and Alex Ahle. Live shows are planned as well in the near future.

In 2001, THANATEROS released their debut album, “The First Rite” – a work about magic, the worship of nature, old gods and shamanism. Even though this theme has always accompanied the five dark rockers, THANATEROS’ new work, “Tranceforming”, is a more impressive continuation of their first album than ever before. As if there were less than 23 years between the two releases.

The title “Tranceforming” is fitting. A play on words that, on the one hand, stands for bringing about a shamanic trance in which the practitioner goes on a dream journey, leaves his body and gets in touch with the spirit world. And, on the other hand, it includes transition, change, transformation. Aspects to which everything and everyone is subjected to, on both the small and large scales.

Since "Tranceforming" also impresses with a powerful, balanced and harmonious production, the new THANATEROS work certainly represents a milestone in the band's long-standing work and should also provide a lot of joy live on stage.

ECHOZONE is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with MARTINÉ from Aachen, whose musical style is best described as an extravagant and compelling fusion of EBM and Electropop. Since the beginning of 2022, MARTINÉ has exclusively presented his musical work under his own name.

The studio album "Nichts währt ewig" will already be released by ECHOZONE in the spring of 2024, promising the aforementioned blend of EBM and Electropop, with a strong focus on dancefloor-oriented tracks.

As part of this collaboration, single releases and accompanying music videos are also in the pipeline. The video single "Macht der Stimme" will be released on November 3rd, ready to hypnotize club-goers with its technoid sounds, compelling everyone to dance relentlessly.

ECHOZONE is excited to announce an exciting partnership with the emerging Melodic Dark Rock band, Seekers Are Lovers, hailing from Bavaria, Germany, who are set to bring fresh energy to the music scene. We are happy to announce the cooperation with the German dark electro duo VOUL.

VOUL was founded by Volker Bedra (music production) and Ulf Müller (lyrics & shouting) and is based on a long-standing musical friendship. VOUL move in genres like Electro, Dark Electro, Darkwave, Electro Pop and others.

After a long time there is new music from the Netherlands in the form of the video single "Don't Pray".

The lyrics of this track are a powerful commentary on the hypocrisy and emptiness of religious institutions and the people who lead them. The band's use of strong imagery and striking metaphors paints a vivid picture of their message, making it impossible to ignore.

The lyrics are delivered with a raw and emotional intensity that perfectly captures the frustration and disillusionment of the song's subject, encapsulating the band's disdain for the phoniness and insincerity of those in power. The idea of composing a song together gave rise to a whole project: The Grab Society. Ulf Müller (Projekt Ich, M.U.N.T Connection, VOUL, SMOTCH, U.M. Fiedel, Tränenwelten, Mission Zanzibar, 2MBK) and Manfred Thomaser (!distain, Arsine Tibé, DEMOKRATIE, The Independent Season) dig and reach for electro, pop, wave and experiment. We are very happy to announce the cooperation with the Darkwave Electro Duo DAS FORTLEBEN.

Linguistic wit + word acrobatics, paired with electronic club sounds - sometimes hard, sometimes soft!

Originally as a solo project by Luke J.B. Rafka brought to life in 2010 for the public, it has now grown into a grandiose 2-man project. While Luke puts world events into words without inhibition V-nerV has been providing the electronic background since 2016. electronic background in the form of his compositions.

The first single "Spiegel der Gesellschaft" will be released on February 24th with the original song, a club edit and remixes by Relate, Superikone, ANTIAGE, Das(X)Periment and U.M. Fiedel and the first partby the song "Ein Gespräch zwischen Sonne & Erde". Parallel to the single, a video will be released which was created by Maik E. Baptist.

Further single releases are planned for the rest of the year.

We are happy to announce the release of WINTER's new studio album "Looking Further Back" in cooperation with Wintergothic Records in April 2023.

This time, "Looking Further Back" presents newly mixed highlights from earlier times as well, but not exclusively. In fact, only six of the eleven titles are previously released material. Five songs are brand new and as of yet unreleased. (There are even six new tracks on the CD, the CD bonus track is already a foretaste of the new album “Heroes”, which will be released in autumn).

WINTER stays true to his course with "Looking Further Back". And that means that he basically doesn't have a rigorous line here either. Again, he moves within his self-defined framework, somewhere between AOR rock, hard rock, pop, wave and gothic. As always with a proper 80s touch and a feeling for catchy choruses that get stuck in the listener's ear.

The album will be released on CD (with a bonus track), as well as digitally and on strictly limited (300 copies) Black Dust splatter vinyl.

April has it all. Once again the Beckum-based HEMESATH are going on TOUR with the NDH actors from MAERZFELD and will be standing their ground in Cologne from April 8th on the mostly German stages. As in spring 2022, HEMESATH will heat up the audience with the songs from the second studio album "So Schön" and thus pass on the audience at the individual stations to the headliners of MAERZFELD at least at operating temperature.

HEMESATH warm up before the start of the TOUR and will be supported by their colleagues PROTZ on two concert evenings in March (10.03. and 11.03.).
